If you read my husbands first post, he did give you a on-topic, cordial and legitimate answer to the question you posed. You chose to be offended when he told you that regardless of what you think, people are going to talk about what they want to.
I was merely stating that you complain about arguments errupting within the forums when you are promoting it yourself. It does not make much sense to me. If you are unhappy with a topic why not start your own thread pertaining to what you wish to discuss? There are just as many people that would love to discuss various subjects pertaining to sex as there are who would like to talk about something ...else.
I for one, do not enjoy talking about sex all the time or war and death all the time. So I pick and chose which topic I want to comment on. It does not bother me to surf through many topics as I like to have a variety to chose from. If this site was about only one subject or the other, it would be very boring. I rather enjoy reading most of the posts wether they be about sex or not. It is entertaining for me.

Las Vegas - June 5th to 9th - - Damn. Won't be down there that weekend due to family obligations but you really should check out the Topless Pool Party every Saturday. The Evolve Beach Club topless party at the Artisan Hotel is usually really fun and often quite a few local and out of town swingers attend. Have fun! :-)
Swingers Next Door! - ABC news story on Swinging! - There is a REAL reality show about swingers! Or as close as you can get. Completely unscripted, completely real! They only ask to restart a scene if they missed audio or need additional video (they are trying to tell a story, so it only makes sense that they do this)... The show represents the lifestyle in a sexy and accurate way. We've participated in the show two different seasons (on 5 episodes total) and will continue to do so as long as they let us. They do it with integrity and we are both incredibly proud to say that we are a part of such a great show. It's on Playboy TV, it's called SWING! Nothing like the drama filled, scripted, and utterly unrealistic show on A&E. We highly recommend checking it out! We're going to try and have a party as each episode releases for the upcoming season with our lifestyle friends (everyone should!). Did extensive research on Red Rooster and Green Door... and they both look gross. Really gross. (Like, worn down, 70s style venue where you could probably get an STD from sitting on a chair). Wife saw the pictures, read the reviews, and refuses to go anywhere near them.
Swingers Circle looks more like a scam to me than a swingers club -- and after reading the reviews, I'm kind of disappointed that Swingular even allows them to advertise here.
Couples Oasis and New Temptations are the two we intend to investigate when we arrive... but honestly, they're our backup plan if we can't find a fun couple to hit it off with, instead.
Polyamory - Please share your thoughts.... - My wife and I have been poly for almost 4 years now. We've learned that poly is a REALLY broad topic, and there are as many ways to "do" poly as there are grains of sand on the beach. We've met some awesome people. We've met some folks whose relationships resemble train wrecks.
It's not right for everyone, but it's a viable option for certain people. My perception is that there isn't always a big difference between poly and swinging. I've met swingers that talk bad about poly but REQUIRE some sort of commonality and friendship before sex, and I've found poly people that badmouth swingers but use "poly" as an excuse to fuck anyone they want to.
That's my perception.
Can I have sex with someone I don't know but feel attracted to? Yes!
Do I prefer intimacy with someone I feel a deeper emotional connection to? Sure!
But that's just me and my wants/needs/desires. We're all different.
