Orchard Place - Event info - Ryan and Kara are top-notch hosts and the venue is by far the best in Utah for swingers. It's the closest thing we have in Utah to a swingers club -- but it's better because it's clean, comfortable, low-pressure, the music is not loud (so you can actually chat and get to know other couples), and it feels a lot like a low-key meet & greet with a little bit of a charged sexual atmosphere.
The crowd trends towards the younger side (mid-40's and below) but there are a few older folks there.
WAY better than habits.... but we hate loud music and dancing... so... ;)
Does this happen to any other women? - General Discussion - This is sort of a venting as well as a general question. A bit personal, I know...however judging by other forums, I think it will be acceptable. I just want to know how other swingers perceive it and/or deal with it.
For some strange reason it seems that whenever we make plans to go out to a swinger's club for a special party, or a really good swinger's house party...Aunt Flo shows up uninvited. I have had her show up FIVE days early and/or three or four days late just to ruin a potential good time. I don't know if it's because I'm worried about her coming subconsciously or it's just bad luck but it's quite frustrating :( Please tell me that others out there have this same experience as often as I do and that I'm not alone.

With that being said we have been discriminated against due to our age.. Its not fun but everyone has their personal preferences we just have to accept it.. Personally we are more attracted to couples older than us.. But we have had many fun times with couples younger than us. I think it comes down to common interests and attitude. People would be surprised with how many different types of crowds you can fit in with.

I have also had nothing but good experiences at parties, so I guess I'm pretty lucky that way. For me, the lifestyle hasn't exactly turned me into a sex snob or anything like that, but I have gotten used to the open attitudes. It has become much harder (and not in the good way) to play with vanilla females who don't have those same attitudes. Not in the sense of I'm coming on too strong or pushing boundaries harder, but just that "normal" attitudes towards sex and sexual exploration in the LS are different than those in the single scene.
