Swingers unnerve families at hotel - - This is always a concerne the lifestyle gets a bad wrap when the vanila public is ofended. On the other hand it was in a public place not a compleatly private resort or island getaway. Some comon sence is needed folks Now the group that put on that event wwhich We hear puts on a great party will most likly not get back in that Hotel it is a shame.
We all enjoy the fun the freadom but folks when we are in a shared space respect is always best for all.
Its not like the kids broke in to the party to see they aparently saw things in a public lobby area.

Swingers Next Door! - ABC news story on Swinging! - I've heard that the A&E show is just what I thought it'd be, the young & beautiful and tension emanating from the vanilla neighbors. Of the 3 things I expected, so far, apparently, there hasn't been a marriage destroyed by swinging, but I'd be surprised if that doesn't turn out to be part of this "reality" show. But after just 1 episode, it looks like I'm 2 out of 3.
I'm sorry, but I really think the show is an attempt, probably successful, to exploit something most people would find edgy and fascinating. I'd love to see a REAL reality show about swingers, but somehow I doubt that will ever happen because it wouldn't fit the "successful TV show" formula well enough. The closest I know of to an honest portrayal of things society thinks are taboo was that "real sex" series. And look how long that lasted. Certainly not long enough to have covered the many things that would have fit into the show's premise. If it was still running now there'd still be lots of things out there for new episodes. My suspicion is that while the title might have been, the actual shows just weren't sensational enough for it to be a long term success. ~ Terry

We were promptly informed were not a match. LOL. We just appreciate that the OP responded. We also think it’s great that they know what they want. Nothing wrong there. The challenge is this is a LS site...they are not “Swingers.” They state this in their profile. They seem to want an exclusive relationship with another couple. Like a quad in polyamory. They seem to want to separately date the other spouse and have this 4 way relationship. I’m sure they will find it but it will be WAY harder than finding 2 unicorns to come play with you at the same time. What they seem to want isn’t what most of us think of as a FWB...it’s more of a poly thing. We truly wish them the best of luck, but it’s going to be tough for them. Where Should we go? - Have flight vouchers, where is a good swinger spot? - We've been to Hedo in Jamaica, Desire in Cancun, Caliente Caribe (formerly Eden Bay) in the Dominican Republic and the Swingers Cruise - all destinations multiple times.
Our experience says it doesn't matter where you go as much as who you go with. Since there is never a large contingency going from Utah, we always try to book when there is a takeover by a group.
Every time we have been adopted as soon as we got there just as if we had always been part of their group. We also usually go the week of Halloween. It's always a nasty celebration and it's at the very end of hurricane season. We've come close but have never had trouble with the weather yet.
I think Desire in Cancun is the easiest resort to push the rules to the limit. Hedo II in Jamaica would be second. The former Hedo III in Jamaica was a bit more restrictive. Caliente Caribe has recently become lifestyle friendly after Eden Bay was purchased by Caliente Resorts. Before, they were just a nudist resort. The swingers cruises allow nudity on the pool decks but you have to be dressed anywhere else on the boat with the exception of the playroom which is on one of the lower decks. Also, you usually have to remain dressed on the day the boat is port until that evening when the boat sails. Some ports are exceptions when the boat is anchored far enough away and they take you to shore on tenders.
If you like to take pictures of you and your partner on vacation, Desire is the most friendly. Hedo really frowns on pictures even if they are of you or someone in your group with their permission. We have managed however, to accumulate thousands of digital shots from all the resorts combined over the last few years.
We have had a blast at each resort/cruise and will continue to go back. But, we've found that it's all what you make it.
Public or Private party venues - What's the definition - We agree completely!
One thing we remind our self is that these are public events. They are advertised not solely to swingers or lifestyle groups. They can be found on facebook and other public sites.
We love these big events and will still attend some of them, however if you are looking for private we would suggest you stick to house parties.
