How did you get started? - - one eveing about eight years ago we were talking to a couple of friends and they wee talking about this club where they liked to go where the people were open and friendly and liked to have fun with clothes on or off. We have always been adventurous, and staunch nudist. Well as you figure one thing lead to another and we went there one night in southern CA and we had a blast. At first it was a place where Sheila could get some female attention that made her smile bet as time went on we actually both selected nights that we were going to do different things. SHeila is a well designed woman and on night had every woman in the place suck my cock before we went home and OH MY GOD what a night. So for her birthday she had what she wanted. Three women and one guys and everyone was well satisfied and sheila slept on the way home. Another grand night. The friends that we started with soon grew tired because they wanted to fuck and nothing more while the true swingers found friend and made life long relationships. Worst advise I can think of... It defeats one of the biggest attractions of Lava, which is once you park your car for the weekend it doesn't move until you go home.
I can think of few things less fun than driving 35 minutes on mountain roads after a couple of drinks at the Blue Moon or visiting Lava and being tagged the designated driver. Everyone that parties goes to the Blue Moon as that is where the fun is at in the evening.
For those who have never done Lava the main attractions in the summer are tubing the river and the Blue Moon, while the main attractions in the winter are the hot springs and the Blue Moon. There are other things to do and you can mix and match, but we've found that is how our time breaks out when we're not fucking.
We visit Lava 5 or 6 times a year, of those maybe two are for LS Events, two for romantic getaways and two for friends and family.
Lava is known as a local Idaho and Utah swingers destination and there are many there every weekend. The problem is you need to have your meet ups scheduled before arriving as it's almost impossible to sort the LS from the vanilla on site.
Risqué Soiree held an event in Lava last spring that was very fun and well attended, we hope they do it again this year. It was a great event for those new to the LS or anyone wanting to meet friends. Also because it involved both Idaho and Utah there was a lot more interaction than many meet ups where people have a tendency to group up with those they already know.
Lava is one of those places you will either fall in love with and visit often, or visit once to say you have been there and done that and never return. But one thing I can promise, and that is if your room is in Pocatello you'll never understand the nuances that make Lava so charming to many. If you want big fancy hotels and everything about your visit orchestrated you would be much better advised to spend your vacation in Vegas as you will not be happy in Lava.

Polyamory - polyanorous couples. - We have been in a Poly relationship with another couple for 2 years. There have been lots of great times and some rough times we have had to work through. It takes a completely stable marriage for the spouses and tons of open and honest communication from everyone involved. Both marriages are going on 20 yrs+ Every poly situation is different. Some have very strict rules, however we chose not to have rules. We just have mutual respect for one anothers marriages and each individual relationship between the four of us. If it ended today, I would have no regrets what so ever. Our lives have been enriched beyond belief and our marriages are stronger and happier than ever. I have learned so much about love, relationships, communication, and myself during these last couple of years and I wouldn't change a thing. We started out as Swingers and still have Swinger friends, but we are emotionally and sexually faithful to our partners. Five years ago, I could never fathom loving anyone else besides my husband. The other couple's kids are grown and we still have 2 at home. We will not tell our children the extent of our relationship with our couple until they are out of High School. Some Poly people blend homes and families. We chose not to do that, but do not judge those who do. Poly relationships are very challenging to say the least. It can be wonderful as well. The Lava Hot Springs Fire & Ice Winterfest is held each year over the first full weekend of February. The town has a website you can follow for upcoming events.
Lava Hot Springs is a popular swingers hangout, most of it is informal, but several groups and organizations do hold Lava Meet N Greets throughout the year. The next meet and greet I'm aware of is May 24-26 Risqué School House Rock.
