Desire Pearl Anyone Going? Feb 1 - 5th 2016??? - Desire Pearl - Maya Riviera, Mexico - SOCURIOUS: Desire Resorts, It is a place for couples only! Its a place where one can wear a swim suit to the pool or hot tubs, or take them off and be naked. You can be naked anywhere but in the dinning area. Its all inclusive with all the alcohol you desire. The food is pretty good (far better than most all inclusive places). Its very liberal and that is why Desire Pearl and Desire Rivera Maya is the go to places for those in the lifestyle. Yes, there is swinging going on in the playrooms and in the cabanas by the hot tubs in the late afternoons and after the disco at nights. The people are from all over the world and it is rare to find the "Utah judgmental attitudes there. Most everyone is there to relax, drink, meet new people and yes, to enjoy their sexual desires. Temptations Cancun lends to topless only and you will get all sorts of young couples attempting to talk their partners into trying the lifestyle and most fail miserably. So it is loud and most are not lifestyle with the accommodations not as good. Desire RM is our favorite and we have been to all of them including Jamaica and the Cabo resorts. Desire Rm is fun, a party of adults and just more free spirited. people "play" here more than others and is the sister resort to Pearl. Desire Pearl has better rooms but not by much. The food is similar and we tend to find half are nudists, not swingers. So you never know if you are hitting it off with a couple that ends in naked fun, or hitting a couple that mows their lawn naked. Don't get us wrong, we love Desire Pearl (it is fabulous). This is why we go to the Desire resorts at least once a year just to cut loose for a week of debauchery and laughs.

The Vent part II - Secrecy - Hi all, me again here with another vent. As we have turned into full blown swingers, our "Vanilla" friends are becoming an issue. We usually swing out of town for two reasons, first there are very few swingers in our area, and I'm having my doubts that the ones that are here are who they say they are, and second, (as a friend once said) we are in a small town and can't "shit in our own nest." The problem is we are very fun people to be around (not bragging,) and when we go out of town our Vanilla friends want to come with us. This leads into the problem, if we take our friends out of town with us we can't find someone to play with, or we have to "out" ourselves to them which leads to SO many other issues that I don't even want to contemplate what could happen then. (Basically all of them would not be open and understanding.) So we are planning a trip to Mesquite, for all you Northerners that's like Wendover, and some of our Vanillas want to come, but we want to "hook up" while we are there, and if we don't "hook up" we could still have alot of fun with our regular friends. So do we risk putting a wedge in our friendships by making up stories and lies, or do we give up on getting some? its like a double edged sword, (we would love to have more swinger friends, but I will refer you to above statement about lack of real swingers in our area.) In many ways I would love to just announce at the next bash that we are swingers now and they should just deal with it, but we all know that's NOT a good idea. Any thoughts or ideas? Why Be In Utah? - - Actually I've always wondered the same thing about Florida. Substitute the crazy Mormons for the Bibile thumpers from Orlando north into the panhandle, add in the hurricanes, torrential rains, gaters, snakes and mosquitos...besides, I've heard the snow skiing is HORRIBLE there. But I'll bite. 1) No porn. You can buy dirty magazines but (unless you know where to go) hard core x-rate movies are technically illegal to sell. A non-issue in the internet age. If you're still buying dvd's at the local porn emporium you need to maybe update your computer or your media server or something. 2) No real beer. Again a myth. You can only buy 4% (by volume) beer in grocery stores but you can get full strength beer at state liquor stores, restaurants and places like brewery stores. Try getting ANYTHING to drink in some dry towns/counties in the Bible Belt. 3) True to some extent, although Salt Lake City itself is VERY eclectic and quite liberal politically. But at least our LDS lawmakers know basic female anatomy and have somewhat of a grasp of proven basic science. No kooky evangelicals freaking out every time someone mentions birth control or evolution. 4) Most people are afraid of Mormons? Really? I've heard they have horns and the missionaries CAN be a little annoying when you're fucking and they're ringing the doorbell but I don't think people are truly afraid. Besides, contrary to popular belief the swing scene here is alive, active and vibrant. I'd wager that per capita we have more, and more active, swingers than just about any place you can name.
