tired of the B>S> - - u know, i don't think we're validated or certified or whatever they call it here on this site. we've been on so many it's hard to keep track. anyway, we're very real and we just don't give a hoot about validations anymore. i guess u could say we've progressed thru maslow's hierarchy of needs for swingers to the self-actualized phase. that's a clever way of saying we no longer give a rat's ass what other people think. ;) we've been swingers since 2003, and we really only went to a lot of parties and sought out new experiences with regularity for the first 2 years. now it's just another "thang" we dabble in from time to time when the mood hits us...mostly on vacation, weekend getaways, and stuff like that. and we really have no ego stake in how many unsolicited emails we do or don't get from people asking us to hook up or inviting us to parties. if we get the itch, we'll look around, find something that piques our curiosity, and send them a message. it's all really no big deal. and we have found that folks who get wrapped around the axle about this stuff are not the kind of folks we want to hang out with anyway.

STDs in the lifestyle - telling people they're no big deal - Hate to say it people, but if you are scared of STD's, this is probably the worst type of hobby, ativity you can have. Condoms or not the chance of contracting something still exists. Condoms break and the other juices flying around can circumvent a condom or other forms of protection. Especially HPV which is pretty common in sexually active people. It's not life-threatening but can be for women with the increased incidence of cervical cancer. It's like a lot of the other types of non life-threatening diseases, even if they aren't, who the hell wants to deal with something that you don't have to begin with? I mean even if there are treatments available, I'd rather not have to deal with something I contracted for the mere "Want" to fuck other people. See what I'm getting at? Like ThoughtGarden said, "abstinence" is the only way you can guarantee safety. So, again if you are worried, you might want to find another hobby, or just be extra safe and have a great time. It's what we've done and haven't had any problems so far. It's that one time though that could change a lot of peoples opinion on the lifestyle and safety. I do remember reading something that stated swingers for the most part are married, and believe it or not have an incredibly low rate of STD's because they keep the swinging on the inside with other safe, married couples. Not everyone who wants to go to Playhouselv is admitted. They are selective and we have some friends who were denied access. We also have some friends who were approved and absolutely love going there. We are good friends with the couple that runs Whispers. We actually play them this week in our lifestyle Fantasy Football league. lol. They are a great couple and do a great job there. The main difference is that Whispers never allows single males, whereas Playhouselv has specific nights when single guys can come. You can't go wrong with either place. But, definitely stay away from the tourist trap, Green Door. It's filthy with guys following you around jacking off. No bar, no DJ, no dancing, etc. Red Rooster is iconic for it's dated vintage look. It's busy with a loyal following that caters to an older crowd. It's not for us, but it might be fun to check out because it is iconic. Just keep your expectations low. We do like going to Risque Estate during the daytime for the nude pool. It's worth paying the extra $20 for a daybed cabana to stay shaded. It's is a relaxing environment hanging out with other nudists. The evenings there are hit and miss. Whispers has a busier daytime nude pool on the weekends. The atmosphere is more of a party scene compared to the quiet of Risque. Of course, some resorts on the strip have topless pools. But, you have to find the swingers amongst the mostly vanilla crowd. Whatever you do, we hope you have a great time.
