weight approperate - - We have been in the lifestyle together for 10 years now and couples not being up front about just wanting to play with the wife alone has always been a problem with us. We let people know upfront we only play together.
Now on the weight subject...We advertise ourselves unashamedly about being a BBW/BHM couple. We also let people know if its Ken and Barbie they want they need to move on down to the next profile. One thing we have noticed is that lifestyle web sites, magazines and clubs seem to perpetuate the Barbie and Ken mystique. How often on a swinger web site have you seen a BBW, BHM of even a BBC on their front page? The same goes for magazines and advertising for clubs and lifestyle conventions and events. Even here on Swingular we have yet to see even a featured member that is a person or couple of size. In our humble opionion it's something swingers media needs to address.

We started a Yahoo group called Big Beautiful Couples and Ladies a couple years ago with the idea that if membership grew large enough maybe organizing an event similar to Lifestyles or Hedonism II. 'Neighbors with Benefits' to air on A&E - Excited to watch? - Looking at the preview, I have a problem with the show before even seeing it. It looks like the people on it are all going to be 20 or 30 something, and pretty darned physically attractive. Great TV marketing strategy, I suppose. Get people to tune in to see great looking people who engage in "forbidden" sex. Titillate the viewing populace. But NOT anything even close to a representation of the people in the lifestyle. Sure there are people as young as in their twenties in it. I was in bed with one a few weeks ago (yes, miracles do happen, folks. Even with old codgers like me [em]Emo_100[/em] ). But not only is the lifestyle not made up entirely of really hot looking people in their 20s and 30s, they aren't even a really large chunk of it. The largest single age group, based on what I've seen at events and parties, as well as on the site, are in their 40s. And far from all being fit, slim, and very sexy in a traditional sense, they are mostly average. In other words, the majority of us are normal people. And until the society as a whole starts seeing swingers as just normal folks, swinging isn't ever going to be well accepted. I also have a suspicion that the show is going to present swinging as a bunch of people getting together then all pairing off randomly with whoever. In other words, the view of swinging that vanilla society already seems to have. I really doubt that this show is going to do anything good for the lifestyle, mainly because I expect it to present a warped view of the reality of swinging. ~ Terry.

Single male in this lifestyle.. - I have questions for couples and single females. - At the risk of restating for the millionth time...
Cold hard truth time, JOSH. Single guys in the lifestyle are a dime a dozen (that's a really old fashioned way of saying there are a LOT of you). And believe it or not you all claim you're super spiffy dudes (you're not...not all of you anyway). If you all WERE super duper All American boy-next-door stud muffins you'd have girls falling all over you and we wouldn't be having this (single male) conversation for the bazillionth time.
So let's do the math. There are a LOT of single guys in the lifestyle (despite some who would argue that singles aren't really swingers). There are fewer couples in the lifestyle and even fewer single ladies (again despite that 'swingles aren't swingers' argument). So even factoring in the fact that ALL swinger females are insatiable minxes who have sex almost continuously there just isn't enough time in the day for them to get around to fucking each and every single guy. Sorry, man.
My advice to you, and you aren't gonna like it, is to take all those amazing qualities you possess and find a hottie of your own that you can go out into the wild world of swingdom and share with other people. Swinging really is a couple centric activity. There's a reason it used to be called "wife swapping" and people wearing like disco clothes and gold chains and stuff used to go to key parties. Can you imagine the chaos that would have ensued if a bunch of single guys threw their keys in the bowel at a key party?
ps- If you'd rather not find a woman to swing with and prefer to keep your single male status my advice to you would be to grow a very thick skin, become more patient than a Buddhist monk and never ever ever come across as desperate or WORSE pissy that you don't feel like you're getting your fair share of hot swinger tail.
