does anyone else go through periods of doubt? - as to whether this lifestyle is what they want? - You sound perfectly normal to me. Some people need a real connection with a person to make a connection, whether it be physical or otherwise. Some swingers (especially the men) can just do it with anybody, it's just something new, that's good enough. Personally, I like to have a strong physical attraction to someone before I consider sex with them. Another thing you mention, I believe is also similar to me, I'm a giver, not a receiver. I love to perform oral, men or women,(and I'm told I'm really good at it :)) but I'm not that good at receiving it (from either sex) until that person has really learned me(how I like to be touched or licked), and it may take a few times together, and sometimes either I or they don't have the patience, lol But performing it on others, especially when they're really enjoying it is a huge turn-on for me. LDS Swingers Survey - Will any former/active LDS swingers take my survey? - I would be really interested in the answers from current, active, attending, members. I can imagine that once you've recognized the need to break your relationship with the church its a lot easier to swing. Those that still embrace the gospel, attend meetings, hold positions, etc., and want to be in the lifestyle as well would have to have a tough time resolving those conflicts, I would think.

Explain why you like being a swinger - - Can't really answer as to the exact question posed, as I am a single guy and, therefore, I suppose I can't really be categorized as a swinger, per se. But as to why I like being part of this site with it's potential for associating with swingers: It's because I have never really fit the standard model of sexuality (if there really is one) and the opportunity to associate with people who have broken out of the "mold" and experience something new and bring something new to the scene is very interesting and exciting to me. Hopefully I will get to do a little more than theorize about it.
