We've decided to post a statement regarding our stance on this issue and also help our members understand how to better protect themselves from this and when future issues arise. If they say they have, then the person they talked to was not truly a Swingular representative. If Swingular had been contacted by anyone concerning articles about Swingular or swinging in general, our official position is to say 'no thanks' and pass on it. Nobody is going to figure out who you are with faceless pictures. If you need help editing your images, contact us and we will edit them for you or recommend someone who can. You can also use a free online photo editing site such as www.picnik.com. 4. Do not post any identifiable information in the forums just like I mentioned in #2 above. 5. Use caution when adding friends. Get to know someone first. 6. Use caution when allowing others to see your pictures. There are a lot of picture collectors and fakes out there so if you get a request to see your private album from a couple or single female, voice verify first by phone. 7. Use caution when sending or replying to emails. Use your initials instead of your full names or use aliases until you get to know someone a little better. 8. And last, let these things go. The more you talk about it, the more you feed the fire. I know it's great drama and presents conversation but you're only bringing more attention to the topic. Is HABITS still the place to go? - - however if some of us pitched in on making club Edge an AWESOME swingers club that would be great!!! The sound system is soooo high tech and sounds great. They have some of the top dj's in the area. completely awesome!!! There is private area for conversation or VIP reasons and private booths. It has a huge dance floor with lots of extra room to socialize. Huge back area for smoking and socializing too.Every party thrown there has been off the roof and sooooo much fun for everyone including all of the single people out there too. The staff is soooooo nice and great with their customers. The drink prices are not to pricey and drinks taste very good with full flavor not watered down like some of the other bars. Before you do what a lot of individuals do on this site and make presumptuous comments, get to know the history of the website a little. The site was called something else when it started in FL. Rob, the founder of "Swingular" seperated from the co-founder of the original site. He moved to Utah and began marketing it here. That is why it is more prevelant in the two states. Polygamy in the local history has nothing to do with the amount of swingers on this site. It has everything to do with localized marketing efforts. The only people involved in polygamy in Utah are now mainly extreme minority offshoots of the LDS religion, like the FLDS or "Fundementalist Latter Day Saints" Church. They are shunned by the mainstream LDS church. They are the very reason many people today, still attach the word "polygamy" with mormons. I too, once presumed such things about them. After living amongst the mainstream members, I was quickly educated. I wasn't slamming you, it's just that we have a lot of individuals here that would rather presume or assume than take the time to research. It's kinda like people thinking most Texans are ignorant racist rednecks. While there will always be those that are true to the stereotype, it hardly means we should make such presumptions about the majority, when visiting. Hell they still hold KKK rallies in the south.
