City Cracking Down On Sex Parties - - Adam, It's acceptable to be intolerant of bigotry and oppression. ;) As for your lengthy rant, sorry dude you rambled too long. I lost interest. Try to stick to one idea at a time. I mean that with respect and no offense. It's just too difficult to reply to all of that, when it's so all over the place like that. Flatlander, I am not the one arguing. LOL! Spare me your personal remarks. You don't know me. Again, the article says that the city is trying to find anything they can to shut them down. That tells me that they are trying to find any excuse to shut them down. If parking were the only issue, the remedy would be simple. Park everyone remotely in a central location and VAN them in. I don't think it's the only issue. The only other issue is moral and where do morals come from??? Here's a little quote from the article: "When I bought my house, I didn't think I'd be living next to a massage parlor and brothel." What would it matter if there was a brothel or massage parlor in a neighborhood? Prostitution is wrong because Christians say it's wrong. In countries where Christianity isn't allowed to taint government, they have redlight districts. There is plenty of evidence in the article that points at the religious motivation. Another quote for ya.

"After Wood said he complained, the city put up no-parking signs in front of his house and the Cherry Pit. But that hasn't kept visitors away. The Duncanville City Council is set to vote on an ordinance that would declare the Cherry Pit and other clubs like it illegal and a public nuisance. The city said the problem is the Cherry Pit promotes the activity on its Web site. If the new ordinance passes, when the city finds a sex club is advertised or promoted, then officials will have a system in place to shut it down."
It appears no parking didn't stop the swingers, so they are trying to make the clubs illegal. In other words. Parking wasn't the problem. The swingers found ways to get there without parking. What else would the city's motive be? I'm a child for challenging your position??? What am I not allowed to disagree with you??? -D-

I Have A Question - Poly vs. Open - Mr. and I have been in a committed poly relationship with another couple for 3 1/2 yrs. Both we and the other couple had been in the LS for 3-4 years before this. Our trajectories were different - Mr. and I were pretty bored with swinging. We had lots of fun adventures, but we both tend to crave more intimacy and I, in particular, don't find myself attracted to many men until I am intellectually attracted to them, and that generally takes more time and effort than the average swinger wants to put in. We had tried only dating unicorns for a year, and then went to more of an open style marriage (infrequent, but occasional hall passes. Sometimes with both members of the same couple, sometimes not). But even that wasn't as satisfying as I wanted and my interest in the LS was waning. That's when we stumbled upon our Others. We were at a vanilla swirl party (a few LS, mostly vanilla) and immediately picked them out as LS. What do you know, we clicked. I immediately was drawn to the husband, he to me, and our spouses soon felt the same. We began spending time together as a foursome pretty much from that day forward. Their trajectory was different than ours. They were classic swingers--meet at a party, click, arrange sex or fuck then and there. Sometimes these people became friends over time, sometimes not. They didn't crave the intimacy we did; they enjoyed the spontaneity, excitement and variety. Their relationship was never open. No hall passes, almost always straight partner swap with another couple, but occasionally they would mix that up at a party situation. So it's kind of surprising that they ended up down this road of polyamory. We just clicked and loved every minute with each other and really never have wanted to be apart. HOWEVER, we are all four still swingers in some way or another. It has become more apparent after the honeymoon phase has settled into a deeper, more real relationship. They occasionally still want that exciting fling. We do too, only less often as the stars REALLY have to align for me. Mr and I still occasionally like sex with a deeper connection. There have been moments when we resented their desire for casual sex. There have been moments when they resented our need for deeper connection. But in the end, like any LS couple, we were able to talk it through. And we were able to realize how all of us can be fulfilled and have our needs met. We just had to drop the jealousy and insecurity and really want to please the people we love.

Alternative ways of connecting. - - You can also try various dating apps. They are hit or miss, but we have had some success with them in the past. There are several that are targeted at swingers/ethically non-monogamous couples like Feeld and 3fun. Okcupid has also opened up and will let you and your partner link your accounts so that whenever someone visits your profile they can see that you are in a relationship with "Bob/Jane" and can check his/her profile out at the same time.

What Percentage Swinger Are You? - Maybe this is interesting - Pretty small. Some would probably consider us semi-retired or maybe even posers. We've been in the lifestyle for a long time and have pretty much fulfilled all or most of our fantasies so now we're sort of opportunistic swingers. We like to socialize a bit and if the mood stikes us or we meet a particularly enticing person or couple we go for it. If not we go home and have amazing sex with each other. :-)

Why the male side of Couples are here...? - I will admit I am hoping to spark some heated debate on this.... -

Because every time the female half gets on all she gets is here's a pic of my cock, want to fuck?
At the risk of further pizzing off a few of the single dudes around here... That's because a fair number of guys assume that since you're swingers (i.e. you "allow" your partner to fuck other men) you must by default be a cuckold. It's bullshit and it unfairly affects the single guys who DON'T assume that married male swingers are all cucks (or won't openly admit it-lol). To be fair, we've run into more than a few married guys who feel this way too. They're easy to pick out because they say up front their lady doesn't fuck other guys or they try to bait and switch you after you meet. Exactly... Bty EvilDoers, you guys are awesome! We laughed so hard reading your profile! Xoxo!

Swingers unnerve families at hotel - - Hey it made news in west palm beach too LOL http://www.palmbeachpost.com/state/content/gen/ap/FL_Swingers_Soccer_Families.html

feedback - - I'm with RIPIN22 on this one. We came to this website to meet people who are as open minded as we are. We live by the phrase "To each his own" Not always do we agree to someones opinion or preferrence but we respect their freewill to have that opinion or preferrence. We are not "hard" swingers and can be at times particular who we'll jump into bed with, but at least we reserve the right to tell someone that they are just not for us. Isn't that what this lifestyle is all about in the first place. I realize not alot of couples are into single guys, but should they be punished for that? We have brought our longtime 'friend' to the meet and greets and have been thanked for introducing him and for the insight that he has brought to the group as a single guy. In return he was met by the "Jealous husbands club" and has since backed off from the sight because of poor feed back from the people who have yet to meet him. It's amazing what you can miss out on if your mouth opens before your eyes do. I thought that NO judgements is what this was all about. I know that is what we were looking for when we signed up :::sigh:: I guess it's the same all over ... and here I thought it was just a Utah thing lol Rubs and kisses Mare

Age differences - How do you handle it - We look to make some sort of a friendship with anyone we play with so we feel the best chance that would happen is if they were close to our ages but we have found many exceptions to that theory. We are just playing the odds that a connection is most commonly found with someone of similar ages. The reason for this thread was because of conversation we were involved in at a party recently that we attended. People of all ages were there. I was sitting with a few older ladies, who I must say were very attractive, but then they started talking about all of their ailments and it almost makes me afraid that I might accidently hurt them if we played. I want to provide pleasure, not pain. Also a few were saying they went to a big party and it was mostly younger couples who were dirty dancing and flirting but not really playing and they felt the younger swingers are not as sexual as the older people are. One rationalized it by saying that maybe the fear of pregnancy is the issue. We try to be ourselves at all times and if we find common interests with a couple younger or older then us, great. Since we are somewhere in the middle we can go higher or lower then our ages. We would go higher then our ages first because of the experience and maturity factors hoping their experience will provide us some fun and share their knowledge with us. We wonder what those at either end of the spectrum think and what is their biggest concerns. Great input so far from everyone so thank you for that. Joe and Lori

COME ON DOWN !!!!! - - The previously mentioned posts about jewelry, etc to identify other swingers disappeared when the site crashed, so bringing it up again is a good thing. It would be SOOOOO cool to know for sure if people are in or not! -SG

Swing Color Bands - Swing Color Bands - I agree the wristbands are a good idea but Having so many colors is ridiculous and confusing as this site is proving. What is everyone going to have to carry a cheat card in their pockets to remind them of what colors what. Why not stay to the basic's: One color which just signifies you are swingers and can be worn outside the club these also can have a universal Logo of choice. Have Two clors which shows Female is BI, multicolored, and Third, tri-colored, which shows Both are Bi. That's One band with NO more then 3 colors which u can wear anywear and maybe meet new people u wouldn't have been able to do before. Again, keep it simple and less confusing.
