Age differences - How do you handle it - We2, I can understand what you are saying. My first wife was 16 years older then I and my current wife is 6 years younger. First wife helped me to mature early and quickly and current wife keeps me young and on my toes. Seems like most everyone feels similar to us. Age and desire - Is there a number that scares people away? - Age is nothing we have fb's anywhere from 25-52 it just depends on whether or not they can separate from Swingers and be friends too.

One would hope. Unfortunately the lifestyle has become so adulterated (pun intended) by just about anyone who thinks it's a free, easy way to get NSA sex that you now have a virtual cornucopia of people who don't really "get it". What I guess I'm trying to say is that it seems like it's no longer wife swapping or swinging. It's now "the lifestyle" and apparently includes every manner of sexual libertine imaginable including those who view swingers (and yes I mean mostly females) as wanton sluts who are borderline nymphomaniacs that lack the capacity or will to say (or mean) "No.".
It would be very interesting to poll women who have been in the lifestyle for a considerable amount of time, say ten, fifteen or twenty years, and ask them if they're ever had to more or less fight a guy off or worse, or if they've ever entertained unwanted advances so as to not rock the boat or harsh the vibe at a swing party. My experience with this topic is pretty varied. Obviously I not only list myself as bisexual but I also am transgendered; so in the swing lifestyle my potential partners are severely limited. But with that said, I have also met a large number of sweet and understanding people out there. I have also met a fair amount of swingers on a more intimate level. Thanks to our religious "western society" however, listing yourself as bi, does pretty much brand you.
There have been plenty of opinions on this subject in the forums since I've joined and I'm sure long before hand. The one re-occurring thought I see over and over is that when you are talking about sex, it's simply an act of pleasure in this type of setting. If it is good for the woman, it should be good for the man as well (or TGirl in my case).
Long story short dear, just do what your head, heart and little (maybe big, I haven't seen it) head tell you to do. If it feels right, then it IS right. Don't let anyone tell you any differently. If you don't get laid as much, that's their problem for missing out on a great guy that is truely in touch with himself.

We have had our share of turn downs, but most we have found people just don't respond. From the few that actually took the time to respond I can't remember anyone doing more than saying no thanks.
We did save one response to a rejection letter we sent, the only one ever saved. She wrote an entire 1 page letter about how we should not judge books/people by the cover. It was quite a read. It was in response to one of our nicer rejecting letters where we politely pointed out we had no interest and suggested some swingers groups they might consider exploring (they were just started to explore the lifestyle). oh well.
