Hosting a swingers Party - - there is a few ways to do this . and like i noticed someone say u have to be careful on how u do things . if u dont have a lic, then u cant TELL PEOPLE THEY AHVE TO PAY U . u can ask for a dontation to help with the cost . but if anyone choose not to pay u still have to let them in . if not u can get into alot of trouble . one way to charge and it be ok is to have a private group with priavte parties .u can tell the group what kinda of party and then ask them to please send a dontaion with a id pic of them being 21 and over and then email them the loctaion to the party .i am sorry u have friends that dont want to help out with their share to help the party be good . i have never met anyone like that . all the private parties i have been to or heard abot everybody was more then happy to pay to help the party . but u have to be very careful about stuff like this . cops look for every reason to bust a swingers party . if the achool is being handed to u , they will bust u . if u tell them they have to pay to come they will bust u .
i would look in to it and the laws in your state . u can always stop by the cops station and ask some questions . but please be very careful . i hate to see people geting busted for trying to get together and have a party .
if people in your group dont want to pay u . then i would throw the parties at a club . u can call clubs and tell them how many people are in your group and what night u would like to go and most of the time they will give u and your group a deal to get in . and then the poeple have to pay . and it isnt going to u . so u dont have to worry about breaking any laws .

La2016 - Need advice - I agree with what lookin4fun369 says, but you also need to be prepared to be approached by couples if you venture out into the event space.
What you're looking for based on your profile is the same thing that the majority of swingers are also keeping an eye out for... The elusive unicorn. Yes these magical creatures do exist, but they are difficult to corral. There are many that can be found behind the lcd of your computer screen, but to actually entice one into a dinner date, followed up with play time can be seemingly impossible at times! In fact... We had one completely disappear after making a dinner date just hours before this very night!!! Yes... We had communicated for several days and she made the arrangements... Only to disappear in a trail of glitter.
Do not be discouraged, as your quest will certainly take you on the adventure of a lifetime... But keep in mind... Sometimes it's the journey, not the destination that the excitement lies.

Swinging/Polyamory - I just wanted to hear other people thoughs on this....... - We think the problem is that people see the equation "sex = love". IOW, if I have sex with you, I must love you. Therefore polyamory and swinging are the same. After all, if I don't love you, I won't be having sex with you.
The way I see it, swinging is like a game of golf or tennis. I might play a game with you but I don't love you. Similarly, I might have sex with you but I don't love you.
Poly, IMO, is basically having a relationship with that other person and sex is involved on some level. Kinda like "I'm in love with you and oh, BTW, lets make love"
The way we see it, swinging is about exchanging sexual partners for recreation sex. In an orgy situation at a party, you can have sex with that person with zero words exchanged. In a poly relationship, there is a real connection going on besides just sex. Sex becomes incidental just like it is with married couples.
With swinging, there is no emotional attachment. Is that a good thing? Well, it depends. We need to understand the very simple nature of things. We do this to avoid that. That is human nature. Many swingers DON'T want emotional attachments and avoid them because of the complications they cause in the first one. Are there benefits to the attachments? You bet. Is there a price to pay for that benefit? But of course. Is it worth it to you? That depends on your viewpoint.
In our life as a couple, the problems poly cause BASED ON OUR OPINION (your's may vary and no right and wrong here) do not outweigh the payoff. IOW, we don't think the benefits of a poly relationship are worth the problems it creates based on our opinion. YMMV

Thanks for the advice where to buy them. But about wearing a swingers identification... We presume you don't wear them on a birthday party with the family. But its a good idea to show you are swingers on vacation, public party's or elsewhere. These are the places to meet like minded people and how can you otherwise find them. Too Young? - Are we just too young... - I personally don't think you're too young. However, you have to ask yourselves this. Are there couples here that you would consider too old? I have a son your age. I am 39 this year. Sexually speaking, I don't think any age above 18 is off-limits. However, not everyone is in the lifestyle just for sex alone. Many want friends etc. Age [u]usually[/u] dictates one's maturity level. Not always. Most older swingers will shy away or be leery of young swingers because, 1) Swinger parties have alcohol. 2) Maturity or lack thereof. 3) Insecurity about their aging faces/bodies compared to yours. Let's face it, everyone has something that they're turned on or off by. You just have to roll with it. I personally think you two deserve a fair shake. ;) Don't let others' choices get your down. Remember, everyone turning you down is in turn getting turned down by someone else. I don't care how hot they seem.
