Denver. what to do? - Headed to Denver next week, what must duo's are there? - I've lived on and off in Boulder/Denver for over 12 years and I can tell you the LS scene is booming! Yes, The Ranch (scarlet ranch) is great but you have to pay to get in and it's best when there's an event like NYE or a foam party (those are great!) I would get on scarletlifestyle.com, which is their companion site kind of like Swingular. There you can meet people in the area and see what events are going on at the Ranch while you're there. So the joke in Denver is...if you go to Highlands Ranch (SW Denver) and you see white rocks in the front yard then they are swingers. Denver, or to be specific, Highlands Ranch, is home to the largest swinger/lifestyle community in the country so enjoy! For fun, Shotgun Willie's (Glendale) and La Boheme (downtown Denver), both strip clubs, are fun and fillup with LSers on Friday and Saturday nights. Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - Being that we are in the older bracket, I would say that yes age can be a factor. It depends on the individuals involved, but many times people put upper limits on play partners and anyone over that age is a null factor. There are several women on this site over the age of 50 who may make some couples rethink their age limit or make an exception for them. Weare very active in the club scene here in NC and people know us and age doesn't seem to be much of a factor. I don't think that staying in ones own age bracket is the thing so much as the perception that older people are over the hill both in looks and performance. Just remember if you get too old to cut the mustard, you're never too old to lick the jar it came in.
Couples Oasis in Vegas - - Have been.. wasn't impressed. Felt like the kind of place you might get herpes just by sitting on a chair. Hosts were very friendly, crowd was older ... didn't see any couples there we would have rated over a "4 / 10". Stayed about 30 minutes and left.
Honestly, swingers clubs in vegas are not good... the tourist atmosphere lends itself to people just trying to make money... they don't have to create a quality product to get people to pay big bucks. Save your moeny.
When talking about vegas clubs, you'll find that most people over 60 speak fairly positively about them... most people under 40 won't go anywhere near them.... That should tell you something.

What is is with local couples? - Anyone else seem to have the problem with couples local to where you live NOT wanting to meet? - Your success on this site is based mostly on locale. Because the site's owner is located in Taylorsville, UT, then it stands to reason that the density of "Swingular Member" swingers will be the greatest in Utah and will slowly trickle out until enough people in your areas sign up.
We have quite a bit of success on swingular because we live in Utah. We are originally from Oregon and have had great success since we've moved here. If we decide to move back, I don't think our results will be nearly as good. I've searched our old zip code and the results were horrible. Try it yourself. Our results are phenomenal here in Utah because of shear numbers.
Sure there are asshole and fakes on here, but I don't think that's the problem. I think the problem is that swingular is not that big in most states other than here and Florida, which is where it was born.
We are very outgoing and love to meet new people. We have no problem "meeting" anyone. There should be no problem meeting. Just because you meet doesn't mean you fuck. If anyone expects that result every time they meet people, they are ignorant fools. You have to be attracted to the other people for the sex part to work. We can be friends with anyone we find to be cool. For the "Friends with Benefits" clause to kick in, we have to both be attracted. After all, who the hell wants to have sex with a person they don't find sexy? The point of the lifestyle is to make certain fantasies come true and reach new levels of gratification, not to make you feel cheapened, repulsed or violated.
