Are you more or less tolerant? - - Now that you're a swinger do you think that you're more or less tolerant of people of a different body type than yours? We ran the Utah Undie Run yesterday (WAY fun, highly recommended btw) and today we were checking out the stories about it from the local news outlets and more than that the message/comment boards. Now we all know that there are a LOT of people in Utah who are/were very offended that some people would run around downtown on Conference Sunday in their underwear so we were expecting a lot of "sour grapes" type comments about it being disrespectful, etc.. What we weren't expecting quite so much were the MANY negative comments about how unattractive the participants were. Sure there were a few that could have hit the gym a little harder but we felt like the majority were actually quite fit and trim (and mostly quite a bit younger than we are-LOL). So it got us wondering if swingers are, in general, more or less tolerant of others who maybe aren't in spectacular shape. Or were you more tolerant before you became a swinger? We're not talking about people you'd necessarily like to fuck just about people in general. What say you?
Polyamory - polyanorous couples. - We have been in a Poly relationship with another couple for 2 years. There have been lots of great times and some rough times we have had to work through. It takes a completely stable marriage for the spouses and tons of open and honest communication from everyone involved. Both marriages are going on 20 yrs+ Every poly situation is different. Some have very strict rules, however we chose not to have rules. We just have mutual respect for one anothers marriages and each individual relationship between the four of us. If it ended today, I would have no regrets what so ever. Our lives have been enriched beyond belief and our marriages are stronger and happier than ever. I have learned so much about love, relationships, communication, and myself during these last couple of years and I wouldn't change a thing. We started out as Swingers and still have Swinger friends, but we are emotionally and sexually faithful to our partners. Five years ago, I could never fathom loving anyone else besides my husband. The other couple's kids are grown and we still have 2 at home. We will not tell our children the extent of our relationship with our couple until they are out of High School. Some Poly people blend homes and families. We chose not to do that, but do not judge those who do. Poly relationships are very challenging to say the least. It can be wonderful as well. Just my bit :)

New members - Any new members find it hard to meet people on here. - Yes, the lifestyle, like high school, church, and many other things in life that revolve around people in groups large and small, is cliquey. Equal Treatmeat for all singles - singles - As a couple we feel that everyone should be treated the same. There are alot of males ( single or not ) that are gentlemen. And of course there are the ones that are not. We went to a swingers party once were the host was a married man (and his wife their also) that drugged all the females. So should he get away with it were he is a married man? I am a shy person and i respect people and their boundries. Where alot of married males do not. Swingers in Draper cause Super Dell to speed - - After watching the KSL story we soon realized that it was closely tied to another story in the news lately. Super Dell Schanze from totally awesome computers was obviously speeding through the Draper neighborhood to get away from the crazy swinging people that live there! He only brandished his gun when he was confronted by a group of swingers trying to recruit him into thier sick and twisted lifestyle. It is all so clear now and he is obviously inoccent of all charges. We don't think we would drive throught that sick city if our lives depended on it! Who knows...they may force us to come out of our bubble and enjoy life!!!
