Is this one of your rules? What is it? is it fear? or something - Does everyone feel this way? - To everyone, and no one in particular, The reason I have asked this question was not to insult any one's rules, or chastise as some seem to have taken it, AGAIN. I have asked this because our rules have changed and even lightened. As we get deeper into the lifestyle we have given up alot of our original rules and now they are more like guidelines. (I don't know if any of you remember the beating I took in the forum for having a no kissing rule, but after abandoning it I still have yet to find another man I can kiss passionately, just doesn't do it for me I guess.) I am still wondering why this is such a popular rule. It seems there are many who have the "No friends, No play rule." I am only curious as to why. I do not think anyone owes anyone sex, I don't think that everyone should fuck on the first date, I am simply curious. We are very secluded in the south, and are limited as to options of swingers to befriend. A great deal of you Northern Utah swingers have this "No friends, No play rule," out of respect for your rules I can't hardly send you an email asking if you want to hookup this weekend as we are only going to be in town Friday, and have a life to get back to on Saturday. This would break your rule and I cannot feasibly ask it of you. Our guideline for this situation is "Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone." or in other words, we will see how it goes. Anyway, I hope I didn't offend anyone, I have my own weird guidelines as well and have often wondered if there are just a bunch of weirdos out there I don't know about, or if I am the weirdo. ~CLASSY~

Lack of Communication - Is it really that hard? - I've been thinking about this thread (and other's like it...they seem to come along every few months or so, along with the ones about whether or not condoms are a good idea or whether we're just caving to the big latex conglomerates) and I have a few additional thoughts. First, many (most?) emails we receive seem to have about as much thought put into them as one might put into which side of their hamburger to start eating on. If they aren't spammed out to multiple people the senders, at very least, don't seem to have the verbal capacity to write anything beyond, "We seen yer add and wanna put our naughty bits in yer naughty bits." [SIC] Is it that hard to include a little tidbit or two about WHY you think we might be a good match for you and why we would want to take time out of our busy lives to meet with you? And the few that DO contain more than a generic greeting or poorly thought out pick up line have obviously not read our profile (don't necessarily blame them...takes a minimum of a couple of hours to slog through) and don't know what we are and are not looking for. For Christ's sake, give us at least ONE compelling reason why you think we'd like to meet you such as, "We love fisting out stuffed ferrets too and also worship Satan as our lord and master. Let's have coffee." Second, when did we all become such Tender Heart Care Bears? And why do we necessarily feel entitled to a response to a more often than not spammed out email from people wanting to perv our locked pics? I've only written back to that nice Nigerian prince like ten or fifteen times before I finally got tired of him asking for my checking account number. Do you call back every carpet cleaning company that leaves a message on your voice mail? Do you send a nice polite note back the the guy who's running for president for the Violent Tyrannical Dictator Party and wants you to donate to his campaign fund? I mean, he was even nice enough to send you a self addressed stamped envelope. So maybe put a little thought into your solicitations. Give people a compelling reason to write you back beyond, "OMG, you're swingers? We're swingers too. We should totally fuck!". This goes double for single guys. Read the profile...even if you have to do it over two or three nights and use a dictionary to look up the big words. Take note of what people are and aren't looking for and especially if they mention your particular demographic. And last but not least, Don't worry about it if someone doesn't write you back. For all you know they've just survived a horrific bumper car accident at Lagoon or maybe they're 2 days in to binge watching all nine seasons of Matlock and haven't eaten or slept for two days. If you're consistently not getting any responses to your emails maybe you're fishin' in the wrong pond. Take a good long hard look in the mirror and ask yourself honestly if Angelina Jolie REALLY would like to fuck you or if you're more likely to hit it off with Steve Buscemi or Nick Nolte. Mormon Swingers - - You'll find them on this site...but you need a temple recommend to join them.

Interracial Fun - Taboo Or Good Fun? - Well their have been a lot of intresting comment made. Coming from an african american male who is D/d free everyone has their own choice to partake are no to. Some people like chicken others like steak. to each is own. It is impossible to judge a race based off of what you seen on t.v., read in a book, heard on the radio , or experinced from one person. I wish we could live in a world were race wasn't such a issue. I am a very well respected entertainer and to this day i am ocasionly mis treated but i dont say white people are ignorant ass's. I say that person is ignorant and needs to wake up. But to those who feel as if a black person are any race is bad well you may be missing out on a treat. just remember that old saying you can't judge a book by its cover beleave me im living proof. I dress like a hoodlum in bagy jeans and huge t-shirts i wera jordans and i rap, and everytime i walk the streets are me and my wife shop someone always saids hes a drug dealer are a hoodlum one of those gang banger types and all i can do is smile because little do people know im the most down to earth person you could meet. But this is america the land of the free and the home of the brave and everyone may think and say what they want is their right but all that i ask is think before you speak how you may offend others. We are a unique group SWINGERS. The rest of the world looks down on us because of the choices we make in our lives to swing. So should we be band and outkast from resturants, movies, and schools because swinging can be an infectious thing that could spread like wild fires. But i apologize if i offended anyone i just had to add my thoughts to the topic and i wish the best to all of you. signed THE BLACK MAN.

What do you like most about lifestyles? - - In theory, the lifestyle is perfect for us. We have never regretted starting this adventure and still believe that it is right for us. We have met some wonderful friends and have had many very erotic and fun experiences. Can you feel the "but" coming here. LOL. We are beginning to see the very things we came to the lifestyle to avoid popping up everywhere. Closed-mindness, judgment, and dishonesty are invading the ranks. It is our belief that the lifestyle is supposed to be about open-mindness, acceptance, freedom, and fun. Other words also come to mind like variety, new experiences, non-judgment, truth, love, and joy. BUT (there it is), not only are we judged by the "vanilla" world (and that is okay; we expected that), we are judged by our own. You are too fat, you are too old, you have tatoos, etc., etc. A couple actually told us that we were incompatible because I had tatoos. One on each arm- OMG! LOL. We realize that people have preferences, but come on, two tatoos? It is not like I am the illustrated man. My point is this: let's not judge each other when we don't even know each other, let's not create social classes within our lifestyle, and , for God's sake people. let's be honest with each other. If you are on a swingers site to get your rocks off by cyber-chatting, then disclose to others what you are doing and wanting. Don't tell people you are going to meet them when you have no intention of doing so. Don't act like you are a couple when you are a single male or a cheating husband. Most of us are doing this to meet good people and have good sex. Let us do that without having to wade through dishonesty and hypocrisy. Let's do what we came here for--HAVE FUN! We love the lifestyle and, for the most part, love the wonderful people we have met. Let's keep it going and not ruin it.

single males - - Thank you for opening the topic. I hope that it will be used shed some insight and not just complain. In a place like Habits there are vanilla singles that have no clue that swingers congregate there. So there will naturally be more problem in that environment than a private party. At a house party the only people that should be there are those that are invited by the host and hostess. Every one of the guests should have known the rules or etiquette of this lifestyle. If you had complaints, they should have been addressed last night with the hosts. Evidently the balance you were looking for was not there. Sadly it is difficult for most singles to figure out how to talk to a swinging couple. There are no schools or training centers to teach this. As a single male, conversation at a vanilla party with a couple is much easier. Most often the men and women separate and we talk with one or the other without expectations on either side. Sometimes conversation is just conversation. I find that making friends is generally more difficult in this lifestyle because of the sexual expectations of many. I think that you will find a number of the single men, after getting the cold shoulder from many husbands, find it easier to attempt to talk to the women because they lack the skills to talk with both. It is a mistake but it is also part of the learning process. There is no excuse for rude behavior on the part of the single male but neither is there an excuse for the typical married male attitude. Single males are always and have always been a pariah and dam few couples want them at any party. I came into this lifestyle as a single male looking to make male friends to hang with that would help me understand the rules. I found most of the males were cold and suspicious and difficult to talk with. I was not looking for women to play with nearly as much as I was looking for a girlfriend that was already in the lifestyle. But I am sure that as far as most were concerned all I wanted to find was their wife
