Psychology Research Results - This is a follow up to my earlier post. This is what I found because some showed interest. - I would like to thank everyone who did the research survey for me. I hypothesized that non swingers would view us as more capable of deviant behavior like using drugs and alcohol in large amounts. I was correct. I hypothesized that swingers were more likely to use positive methods to handle relationship conflicts and I was also correct. I also hypothesized that swingers would have high openness to new things and high extroversion. We did find that swingers were more open to new experience but there wasn't enough on the other. Something we found interesting was that non swingers used more aggressive methods to solve relationship conflicts and they had high sexual depression. My teacher is talking about possibly working on this to get it published. I am beyond happy that I can show us in a better and more recent light. Thank you all for your help. I believe the only way that one could truely avoid the heavy hand of the morality police is being organized as a church or truely a private club which whould require some form of selection process of club members. Even this would not keep you out of trouble, only grant you leverage in court.

Renting a location per event is likely the best way to avoid problems. However I know how hard it is just to setup a dance on a per event basis, an on-premise event would be much more work. The effort may be worth it, especially if you have a lot of people to help.
One way we made this work was a once a year event where we rented out a hotel during the off-season. The innkeeper was very comfortable with us being there and we were the only people that could get a room that week-end every year. We had the full use of the convention center and the swimming pool.

Friends with out benefits? - Is it possible to find friends on here who dont want to fuck? - Actually this isn't that uncommon. We've been in the scene for a long time and have seen a lot of couples leave and then try to return and hang around the scene without actively participating because they like the thrill and excitement as well as hanging out with people who don't have a lot of hang ups and they don't have to censor themselves around. Unfortunately, in our experience, it hasn't seemed to work out too well in the long run. Not sure why, exactly. Maybe the real swingers don't want to hang out with people they can't potentially fuck or maybe the former swingers (or at least one of the couple) gets excited again and tempted to want to swing again or maybe it's some different reason altogether. Wish I could tell you how someone has made it work but it just doesn't seem sustainable. It's kind of like a motorcycle group I belong to. There was a guy who would show up at all of our meetings, hang out, talk about bikes, etc., but he didn't actually ride or even own a bike. Finally he stopped showing up because he found it harder and harder to engage the other guys in the group who actually ride. If you figure out a way to do it let me know. We still know a few couples who would love to hang out with swingers without actually swinging.
