Never have I seen any positive spin put on the Lifestyle by the media. Sex and scandal makes ratings with produces ad dollars. And this fulfills both criteria in one story. Do a Google News search on swingers and see how many positive stories you come up with. I guarantee it will be 99% negative.
KSL isn't going to tell a story of how swinging can bring a couple closer and strengthen an already good relationship. They aren't going to show how 79% of swingers report their marriage as "very happy" as opposed to 64% of the general societal survey (GSS), or that only 1.7% of swingers report their marriage/relationship to have become "less happy" after starting to swing. Or that 57% of swingers list marriage as "very important" in their life as compared to 51% of the GSS. They are not going to show that swingers are slightly more likely to be part of a religious organization the the GSS (72% compared to 61%).
These are not facts that will support the sensationalist story they want to produce. They want to show wild sex orgies and broken marriages.

Thank you BENT! We agree with you 100% on the honesty and communication aspect. We have been so happy in the year we have been with our couple, but there have been some bumps and mis communications along the way. Fortunately we were able to deal with them and learn from them rather well. We realize that a Poly relationship is very complex and risky, but the rewards outweigh the risks for us. Swingers unnerve families at hotel - - Ummm 75 couples times 2 = 150 people and while thats not alot for a hotel party it still falls within the accurate statement of aproximately 200
I was there so this is how I saw the situatiuon;
now I am not saying that the cuprits of this incident were the swingers attending the party but come on, your hosts should have made sure that no part of your party was visible to outside guests and some better discression could have been used by SOME of the party goers. Yes there was some flashing and gyrating here and there. And while I love a good party I am also a dad and wouldnt want my kids seeing that stuff either. Do any of you realize that if even one arrest was made swingers everywhere would look bad?. On the other hand the parents should have exercised better control over the children in their charge and the hotel should have either a refused the party or not booked the soccor team (the situation there to me was like having booked a klan rally and a black panthers reunion. not a good idea).
PS according to a reporter friend of mine WKMG has procured from the hotel a copy of the security tapes of the events that went on in the ballroom and around the hotel that night with the possiblity of doing a story on the night as part of an expose (i know its allready been done to death) on swinging in central florida.
