Swingers at work... - - Red64 I think you handled things very poorly. You should never out someone at work or anywhere else. Do you want YOUR privacy compromised? We had a guy send us an email bragging about how he had seen us on another site and he wonders why we won't talk to him.
Respect other peoples complete privacy at all times. If you work with them I don't think its even a good idea to send them an email on the site. Let it go. The old saying "don't get your honey where you make your money" can apply here. We put her pics on Watchersweb one time a while ago. Some moron sent us an email on the swingers site he saw us at bragging about he had seen her pics there. Even this is too far for us. If you know us fine, just keep your mouth shut, ok? This is exactly why we NEVER put face pics in public now.
Other activities? - Do you only meet swingers for sex? - We absolutely do other things with our play friends. We\'ve gone to the movies, stayed in and watched movies, made dinner for each other, gone to the beach. Some of our out-of-town friends have stayed overnight at our house. As much as we do enjoy play time with our friends sometimes its not always possible to play so why not have some fun hanging out with them anyway?
We prefer to play with people who we enjoy talking and spending time with. Much of the talking happens online through here, email or IM as we all seem to be pretty busy most of the time. It depends on the man, of course. Some men do value personality over body type and some definitely value body type over personality. It's the same for women too. In fact, on average, we've met more women who are extremely picky about body type, etc. than men. And body type isn't the only thing that can be a deal breaker for people. Age is also a line in the sand for many swingers. For others, things like smoking or drug use can be big factors in choosing play partners. And there are MANY quite minor factors that people use to weed out people they may not want to play with.
I think it's probably because swinging is more or less a fantasy activity and people are looking for a certain type that hits most or at least some of their checkmarks for a fantasy partner.Those may be body type, hair color, ethnicity, age, or one of many other criteria.
The really interesting part, to me, is how people are often FAR more forgiving of certain physical characteristics in their own partner than they are in someone they want to have sex with. Yet they often get upset when other people also have that same attitude.
I do think, though, that people kind of get in their own way a little bit and in their search for the perfect swing playmate often overlook someone who is on many levels a good or even great match but not a perfect one. I think they're probably missing out on a lot of fun and a lot of good sex.
