Some history and info that was very interesting to me.
My Dad, who has been a swinger for over 30 years, said that back in the early 70's (back when all they had to hook up with was a couple of magazines!) the 2 hot spots for swingers were California - Duh! and Utah - What?

Here's something Ive been curious about - - I must say that I agree couples are the swingers and singles are enjoying the lifestyle because, one, I know plenty of technical vanilla singles that have had threesomes and they don't call themselves swingers. 2, I believe swinging is for those who do bring something to the table other than themselves.. because you're swinging to something new and different than your significant other. what the f#%@ was he thinking? - swingers still deserve respect - That e-mail was totally out of line and I would like to say on my behalf as a single male, I would never conduct myself in such a manner. If I were expecting to be a guest, then that is what I would be. The agressors are truly insecure. Sometimes too I wonder if some 14 year old didn't get access to an account or something like that.
None the less I continue to witness such a sensitivity to single males almost to the degree that saying hello is out of line. I guess that looks like another agressor. I do not want to come across as a whiner but it really makes it difficult for those of us who are hoping to make a connection somewhere.
One more thing to the originator, HOTTYZX2; you are a great looking couple and there is no reason you shouldn't have the kind of fun you are looking for. Hang in there, take care of yourselves and counsel one another about how to deal with such nonsense as the e-mail you received.

I don't think it is a legal issue, I think it is more of an issue of not knowing for certain if the concept would fly and have enough attendance to justify the massive expense in opening one up. I may decide to do it if it looks like it will be well-attended.

A dance floor is something we were planning, but we would want it in a separate area so there were still areas where people could chat without loud thumping music in their ears.

Being super private, discreet, and extremely safe is something that would be our top priority. We have no desire to have our sexuality on display for the rest of the world either. I am considering making it a private club, which it would probably have to be for legal purposes, and we would have to create some kind of vetting process where you can only become a member if you know a member who can vouch for you, type of thing. That way we can make sure that everyone who is showing up is someone who is either part of the lifestyle already or seriously considering to be part of it. The last thing we want is to have "outsiders" coming just to gawk and potentially cause problems.
Additionally, cameras and cell phones would have to be left upon entrance so there would be no risk of cameras on site that could compromise the privacy of the guests.

Saying pitbulls are a dangerous breed would be as inaccurate as saying all mexicans are illegal and are on welfare, all blacks like fried chicken and listen to rap music or all whites live in a trailer park and fuck their sister.
There are dangerous Pitbulls, just as there are dangerous German Shepards and Golden Retrievers. It does not make it right to assume all are just because some are. Pitbulls are not the "most dangerous" breed by nature. The have a higher risk of attack, because many people mistreat them because of how they fight. Mis/Disinformation, ignorance and insecurity is what perpetuates intolerance
Again, you are right. However, there are those that will cite raw statistics to JUSTIFY their opinion instead of trying to FORM an opinion.
Tired of Politics and Religion! - - I humbly suggest that you folks get a grip! I believe this site is a national site? Do you hear the rest of the nation bitching when the forum turns into a Utah date-a-thon every Thursday through Saturday? Personally, it doesn't do a whole hell of a lot for me!
