There are always people with coping issues present in life and especially in this lifestyle. Some find they enjoy watching their spouse with another and have great lines of communication and understanding, whilst others aren't honest with themselves or their partner. This can lead to numerous problems in the relationship from arguments to, in this case, murder. I think age (immaturity) has a great deal to do with the circumstance in this case. Swingers Party - Doesnt mean who ever is there is open to everyone elsa - first and foremost, boundaries must always be respected and no one ever has the right to do things to another person without their permission. however, i also acknowledge that at a party where the intention/perception that playing will or is occurring can create some areas of "unknown". it is important to find out what is ok and when it is ok. for some, that means french kissing within the first few minutes, others may not. i have seen different ways that people have tried to find out. the simplest and most direct is to ask. however, i have seen people do so by "testing the waters" - small hug, then a bigger one, then a peck, then a lingering kiss, then french kiss, etc. and at each step trying to "read" the body language of the other. and i have seen that some people have become so "desensitized" to some of these things that their starting point is further on the scale than others. i dont have a problem with someone trying to open-mouth kiss my wife (even if they have only met for 2 minutes - which she has done with some guys and girls that she was immediately attracted to). i have a problem if they try, she tells them "no", and then they try again. but we go to these parties with the mindset that if there is a mutual interest of the involved parties, then sex is a likely outcome for the evening (unless the party is a "meet-n-greet"). and for us, open-mouth kisses are part of foreplay with our partners. we have even had some parties that we have just "made-out" with some without engaging in sex. ultimately, it is important to find the common ground of what is acceptable for those involved and being respectful of that. it is also important to politely inform someone when they have crossed a boundary. it is unfair of us to expect that others implicitly know all of our boundaries.

The epitome of poor taste - - What surprises me most about some of the "swingers" is the lack of open-mindedness. You don't have to like our appearance, but, fuck, try and get to know someone's personality sometime. Even if you don't attract sexually, at least you gave it an effort, you never know unless you try. The vent! - Judgements, I'm so tired of them. - On judgments: My wife and I were in the lifestyle for many years. She died 5 years ago of cancer and was the love of my life. It has been very hard for me as we were married for 34 years. Many of our friends were swingers because, as others have found, those not involved in the lifestyle often have negative judgmental attitudes. We made many friends. After she died I was supported by my friends but I was no longer invited to parties. For a while that was fine because I wasn't ready. But since I've tried to renew my lifestyle activities, I've found that I am no longer welcome. Why? Because I'm a single male. Forget that my wife and I were involved in the lifestyle up in Seattle, forget the many times we hosted parties at our house, my wife's death made me a pariah to other swingers. I really do not understand this. I'm still the same person. I'm discrete, clean, disease and drug free, I'm not pushy and no always means no. I guess I do not understand why all of a sudden I'm no longer welcome at parties i used to attend. Yes, many people not in the lifestyle judge those of us who are. But a large number of people in the lifestyle are just as judgmental, only they pretend that they are not.
