Who is going to Younge swingers week HEDO? - anyone going? - We have not been yet, but are wanting to. Is March, July, or October the best time of year for Young Swinger's Week?

Psychology Research Results - This is a follow up to my earlier post. This is what I found because some showed interest. - I would like to thank everyone who did the research survey for me. I hypothesized that non swingers would view us as more capable of deviant behavior like using drugs and alcohol in large amounts. I was correct. I hypothesized that swingers were more likely to use positive methods to handle relationship conflicts and I was also correct. I also hypothesized that swingers would have high openness to new things and high extroversion. We did find that swingers were more open to new experience but there wasn't enough on the other. Something we found interesting was that non swingers used more aggressive methods to solve relationship conflicts and they had high sexual depression. My teacher is talking about possibly working on this to get it published. I am beyond happy that I can show us in a better and more recent light. Thank you all for your help. If you have any question let me know.

Black Rings - Do Swingers really? -
These are the only black rings that we're aware of that give you slightly more than a 50% probability of identifying a swinger. Kauai Hawaii for Thanksgiving - Nov 19-27 - We will be staying at Poipu Beach on the south shore of Kauai from the Sat before until the Sat after Thanksgiving. Are there any Swingers clubs or hangouts on Kauai? Nude beaches at least where we can have some late night fun? Thanks.

Orgy Party by Swingers Circle in Las Vegas - -
We attended once, left at the break...comically bad, like something that swinger horror stories are made of. Words can't describe the creep factor vibe that the organizer gives off, we still laugh about it several years later.
Same here, wouldn't recommend. I'm still having nightmares.

Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - JOHNJENNUT, Well, I'll be a son of a... Hey guys! Nice to see ya. LOL! I actually disagree. I think names have little to do with it. If I could do it all over, I would change our name to "DONLUVSTOILETPLAY". Anyway, It's been a long time... How come you guys never come around anymore??? HAHAHAHAHA! BUNNY, -D-

LS vacation - looking for suggestions - We posted this the other day in another forum but thought it might help you out... If you ever get a chance to do the Young Swingers Week at Hedo (especially in March) do it! In March they take over the entire resort and limit the guests in age and only couples...no single dudes. One member of the couple has to be 45 or under. The people that go are amazing! We made friends all over the US and Canada and have places to stay if we are travelling. Just spent Halloween in Denver with a couple we met at YSW at Hedo. They have theme nights every night, play rooms, top shelf alcohol, good (not great) food, day time activities (including free daily scuba trips if you are certified), four or five on resort restaurants (as well as the buffet), no tipping allowed and a lot more. We like spending our days layng on the beach or partying in the nude pool where you have hundreds of fully naked people around you all the time. The resort has a mandatory nude side and a clothing optional side. The resort is designed for swingers instead of just being lifestyle friendly especially when YSW takes over. It is truly an amazing experience that we highly recommend trying at least once...and once you have been, you will go back. We can not recommend it outside of YSW weeks because we have heard there can be lurking single men.

What is your fantasy for 2008? - Many have made resolutions for 2008, but some of us may have made a resolution to fullfill a fantasy. What's yours? - our fantasy for 2008 is to meet as many swingers as we can and also enjoy them

Single Males - -
...get a girl to join you....Not only do you now "bring more to the table", but you have the added credibility that if you can find and finesse a girl into joining you in this little adventure we call swinging (whether it be a girlfriend, a wife, a second cousin twice removed, or just a hot fwb) you might just not be a giant douchecopter.
Ignoring the need to "finesse" someone and unhealthy gender stereotypes in general, this line of reasoning is a little troubling as it presumes that a male's company is inherently worth less. Or that an absence of semi-romantic relationships somehow speaks poorly of his character. I personally think approaching someone whom you aren't already fairly close with and soliciting to go to a swingers party is a bit out of line. Especially if her company is sought as an accessory to demonstrate to others that he is not, as you say, “a douchecopter”. Call me old-fashioned.
I know we can't be the only people who secretly wonder just a little bit about some single guys and why they aren't with somebody. Do they secretly hate women (yes, we've met some that actually do), are they just too lazy (or busy, maybe...but hey, we're all busy) to find someone, are they serial killers and/or just not very nice guys?
Oh, I hope you are! That's a really unfortunate outlook to have. Promising relationships take time to find, let alone build to the requisite amount of trust and stability to try things like this. In the mean time, I don't see anything wrong with someone pursuing their interests while still holding out for someone worthy of their emotional investment. To me, that behavior is quite attractive should be respected! It doesn't get any better than someone who is confident, self-actualized, and motivated to pursue their desires. Sadly, it sounds their gender influences whether this is seen as a desirable trait. I'm not sure how long you've been out of things (30 years?), but it's easy to forget the struggle when you're comfortable in a marriage. Things are more fluid. People don't feel the need to settle down like they used to.
I know many will say they've tried and swinging is a deal breaker for most women. After almost 3 decades in the swinging trenches meeting and talking to other people, both couples and singles, we would disagree....many, if not most, women could eventually come around to the idea of swinging once they feel safe and secure in a relationship.
This is just confirmation bias if the evidence comes from a sample of people you have met while swinging.
...those of us who DID put in all the blood, sweat, and tears into a relationship and allow it to grow to the point of daring (don't think for a second we aren't risking a LOT in opening up our relationships to other people!) to allow others access to our significant other sometimes wonder why some others want to take a shortcut to all the sweet swinging bennies with little or no risk on their own part.
If you're not comfortable sharing your wife with someone you might view as a potential competition, you definitely don't have to. On the other hand, there are a lot of people enjoy it :) This smacks of the old “you must suffer as I did” chestnut.
