Early on, when looking into swinging, I visited another forum. A couple posted a picture of themselves with the caption, "We did it!" Their shirts were off and they were facing away from the camera. A few people posted that they didn't get it. The OP explained that they got upside down pineapples tattooed on their backs so other swingers would know they were in the lifestyle. No one knew what they were talking about. It was sad cause at first they joked that it was a well known sign, but person after person chimed in that they had never heard of it. Some people who had been in the lifestyle over ten years said they'd never heard of it.
After a while they stopped trying to convince people and then stopped responding.
It was pretty sad.
Identifying Swingers! - Lots of talk and now some action! :) - I think it's cool. I would definelty wear it because I could give a fuck what people think. However, it's not as discrete as it should be, if you are targeting everyone in community. An innertwined couple is cool though. It is cool that you are taking the bull by the horns.

Alternate Semi Swinging Site? - FInding the right connections - This is why we've never identified ourselves as full swap only because while we enjoy that, it's not the only level we will play at. If we meet a couple we enjoy who is only interested in girl-girl then same partner, okay by us. We love sex with each other and having others present is a turn-on. New Relationships - - Yep. Swinging is couples centric. If there weren't couples what would swinging even be? Hooking up. But there are plenty of couples who also like to add the occasional single to the mix. Hell, some even play that way exclusively. As far as single swingers meeting each other to form relationships (if I'm reading you correctly) that's a much tougher row to hoe. We've seen a few singles become couples over the years but they're in the minority unfortunately. The lifestyle is a tough place to date and find love for many reasons. Many couples WILL give you more than a casual look if you indeed have a regular play partner that you can bring to add to the mix. Otherwise you'll just kind of have to resign yourself to the plight of a single guy in the lifestyle. Sorry, life isn't always fair.
