Swinging/Polyamory - I just wanted to hear other people thoughs on this....... - Exactly, so instead of saying your a swinger, you should use specifics. Like we are full-swap or we are soft-swap or we are seek polyamory. We are all swingers. It's like saying we are all human, but we have uniquity in ethnicity. I agree that labels help. However, the label swinger doesn't apply to full-swap. It's simply not the way the word was intended. It's not what it means. "Full swap" means "full swap". Swinger means someone that deviates from the moral a social norms of their society with regard to sex. Libertine encompasses swinging because it falls under the scope of being morally unrestrained. I am a libertine by definition and swinging is only one aspect of that word. There was a couple here not too long ago that was spreading intolerance by telling others they weren't swingers because they didn't "full swap". I called bullshit. This is far from the truth. I think tactics like that are used to pressure people that aren't comfortable with full swap into swapping. WE ARE ALL SWINGERS. -D-

Lifestyles Survey by Dr.Ziggy - - This is currently on Dr. Ziggy's website. It only took a few minutes to actually complete. Have fun! Mr. CARESS4U Title: The Swinging Paradigm: A Demographic and Behavioural Inventory of Swingers

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - Did they say what day?

Single Males - -
...get a girl to join you....Not only do you now "bring more to the table", but you have the added credibility that if you can find and finesse a girl into joining you in this little adventure we call swinging (whether it be a girlfriend, a wife, a second cousin twice removed, or just a hot fwb) you might just not be a giant douchecopter.
Ignoring the need to "finesse" someone and unhealthy gender stereotypes in general, this line of reasoning is a little troubling as it presumes that a male's company is inherently worth less. Or that an absence of semi-romantic relationships somehow speaks poorly of his character. I personally think approaching someone whom you aren't already fairly close with and soliciting to go to a swingers party is a bit out of line. Especially if her company is sought as an accessory to demonstrate to others that he is not, as you say, “a douchecopter”. Call me old-fashioned.
I know we can't be the only people who secretly wonder just a little bit about some single guys and why they aren't with somebody. Do they secretly hate women (yes, we've met some that actually do), are they just too lazy (or busy, maybe...but hey, we're all busy) to find someone, are they serial killers and/or just not very nice guys?
Oh, I hope you are! That's a really unfortunate outlook to have. Promising relationships take time to find, let alone build to the requisite amount of trust and stability to try things like this. In the mean time, I don't see anything wrong with someone pursuing their interests while still holding out for someone worthy of their emotional investment. To me, that behavior is quite attractive should be respected! It doesn't get any better than someone who is confident, self-actualized, and motivated to pursue their desires. Sadly, it sounds their gender influences whether this is seen as a desirable trait. I'm not sure how long you've been out of things (30 years?), but it's easy to forget the struggle when you're comfortable in a marriage. Things are more fluid. People don't feel the need to settle down like they used to.
I know many will say they've tried and swinging is a deal breaker for most women. After almost 3 decades in the swinging trenches meeting and talking to other people, both couples and singles, we would disagree....many, if not most, women could eventually come around to the idea of swinging once they feel safe and secure in a relationship.
This is just confirmation bias if the evidence comes from a sample of people you have met while swinging.
...those of us who DID put in all the blood, sweat, and tears into a relationship and allow it to grow to the point of daring (don't think for a second we aren't risking a LOT in opening up our relationships to other people!) to allow others access to our significant other sometimes wonder why some others want to take a shortcut to all the sweet swinging bennies with little or no risk on their own part.
If you're not comfortable sharing your wife with someone you might view as a potential competition, you definitely don't have to. On the other hand, there are a lot of people enjoy it :) This smacks of the old “you must suffer as I did” chestnut.

member profiles - -

Now now, CHEFFETTE. Don't get yourself in a tizzy. Remember your blood pressure. Also remember that some people don't consider SINGLES as swingers. They just consider it hooking up. Now make yourself a nice cup of Chamomile tea or a Xanax smoothie and take a little nap. You'll feel MUCH better and then you can rip those damned cheaters a new asshole all night long. [em]Emo_49[/em]
Seems to me they have all the asshole they could ever need. You're right that some singles (ahem, me) aren't considered swingers b/c they don't hook up w/ couples, but the context of this thread is a website for married people wanting to cheat.
Actually I wasn't referring necessarily to singles who don't hook up with couples. I was referencing that old couples (okay mostly married guys who aren't bi) argument that swingles don't bring as much (or anything, depending on who you're talking to) to the table. Personally we think anyone can call themselves a swinger...and some actually are regardless of their marital status. Whether or not they truly have a swinger's mindset is something altogether different. Some singles do, many don't. And to be fair, there are couples who don't either.

LDS Swingers Survey - Will any former/active LDS swingers take my survey? - So, I've heard of Salt Lake City as being described as one of the most active swinger communities. So, obviously there are quite a few active and former Latter Day Saints who are swingers. I'm a bit of a data nerd so I'd love to find out more (we are recent ex-mormons and are new swingers). If you are (or were) LDS will you take my survey? I'll post results once I get a significant amount of responses. I apologize if something like this has already been done. Pink flamingo - How many swingers have a pink flamingo in their front yard? - Whiskey_girl, I wonder if that ever happened to me and I was oblivious. Definitely will start paying attention now 😁

Sexy swingers closer to our age - 20-30 year old sexy swingers - We mentally identify as 20 year old's, but physically is more like 70's.

BUSTED! Your Kids Found Out Your Swingers. Now What? - - Hell, I think our kids have figured it out. The youngest will be 19 this year and several years ago they found our supposedly well-hidden and protected pictues on the computer that everyone used to share. So, being in IT, I thought I had them secured from their prying little eyes but nooooooooooooooooo! I'm sure they talked amongst themselves about it but nobody ever brought it up. I think we bought their silence though because we purchased each one of them their very own computer and made certain they had no more access to ours! Then we got rid of all the pictures, just in case....
