There were times that I wanted to bitch slap Scully for being a doubting thomas though. Even after the movie she would say, "I dont believe it." Stupid bitch. LoL. We love SURFACE, STAR GATE SG-1, Atlantis, and my absolute fav right now has got to be GALACTICA!!! Talk about a completely perfect remake of a cult classic with a few twists on the characters! Good television. Since I am gone from home so much, I dont get to watch a lot of cable, but you can bet that when I do make a date with the TIVO I am GLUED to these shows, and nothing, short of my wifes sexy ass smile and devilish little "come and get it" grin, can make me press pause! The Very Nicest Turndown - Tell US - We have had our share of turn downs, but most we have found people just don't respond. From the few that actually took the time to respond I can't remember anyone doing more than saying no thanks. We did save one response to a rejection letter we sent, the only one ever saved. She wrote an entire 1 page letter about how we should not judge books/people by the cover. It was quite a read. It was in response to one of our nicer rejecting letters where we politely pointed out we had no interest and suggested some swingers groups they might consider exploring (they were just started to explore the lifestyle). oh well.

The problem with Mormon women (and men!) is that if they're strict, by-the-book Mormons, they were virgins (we were!) when they got married and know little to nothing about sex and how to pleasure the human body (including their own!). It took us a LONG time to figure out sex and THEN, once we started swinging, to realize that there is a big wide world of sexual experiences and techniques and that no single act, 'move', or technique is universally preferred or desired by everyone. Having said that, probably the vast majority of swingers we've encountered in Utah are or were Mormons and you have to decide, especially if they're new and/or you're trying to convert them, if you're kind of willing to be mentors (for lack of a better term) and/or just be very very patient and sort of go back to the basics or at least to whatever level that they're at. It's really quite sad since we've known SO many Mormons who strictly followed their law of chastity only to find, after they were married, that they weren't at all sexually compatible. Condoms - To use or not to use? -

I think this is another preference thing. It is obvious why a fertile couple would want to use latex condoms. However, since condoms do not prevent disease, they only reduce ones chances of contracting certain diseases, I can see why we don't all use them. Not being in a long term monogamous relationship or abstaining from sex, puts you at risk of catching STD's. Since we are all, as swingers, willing to roll the dice to fulfill our fantasies and derive our pleasures, it's safe to say that some of us are willing to "up the stakes". We, TR, prefer using them, but feel that our odds are still pretty good of contracting certain diseases, namely HPV, even if we do use them. What amazes us is the amount of people that still put 100% faith in condoms. We'll continue taking everything with a large grain of salt. Especially any information coming from the medical world. Afterall the CDC, FDA and Big Pharm have all been so forthcoming, upfront and honest with us. I never fully trust anyone that has financial interest. The bottom line is that, as swingers, we are all adding to the spread of disease by sharing multiple partners. Those that refrain from condom usage are just choosing a better sensation and orgasm over their safety.
