A Place In The Lifestyle - - We have a local swingers club in Tampa that is advertised as a swinger clubs
and most seem to be in the swing lifestyle that is there and, we always have a
good time while there... but here is what we see as a little problem. The bar
part of the club is also open to non swingers(vanilla).And as we look around the
room we notice more & more couples coming knowing it is a lifstyle club and
loves the sexy atmosphere and loves to party but not to swap. We have talked
to a few couples who told us they like the swinger club environment and how
everyone is so open with their sexuality and love to play with each other, but
they are not into swapping with other people.
We know some will say couples likes this are not swingers and do not have a
place in the swinger lifestyle. When you go to a swinger club, you expect people
are there to meet and hook up with other swingers.
Would you still call them swingers?

Black Ring, Right Hand - How to tell if someone's a swinger - We used to go to the occasional lifestyle takeover/trip and would invariably be issued a wristband upon arrival so that we could get into events at the hotel or resort. It usually took about half a day for word to leak out, first among hotel employees and then later the general public, that swingers were around the area and that they could be identified by their wristbands. I guarantee if the black ring thing took off that very soon there would be multiple internet stories as well as likely regular news outlets that "swingers" wear black rings on their right hands and there goes any anonymity. The VAST majority of swingers would then not dare wear the accessory for fear of being seen/identified in public as a swinger. MUCH easier to just attend private swinging events where you have a reasonable assurance that all or most in attendance are indeed swingers rather than spend a lot of time cruising the bars or whatever looking for people wearing black rings. Las Vegas - Las Vegas - We haven't been, but do have a weekend planned the first of May...
Did extensive research on Red Rooster and Green Door... and they both look gross. Really gross. (Like, worn down, 70s style venue where you could probably get an STD from sitting on a chair). Wife saw the pictures, read the reviews, and refuses to go anywhere near them.
Swingers Circle looks more like a scam to me than a swingers club -- and after reading the reviews, I'm kind of disappointed that Swingular even allows them to advertise here.
Couples Oasis and New Temptations are the two we intend to investigate when we arrive... but honestly, they're our backup plan if we can't find a fun couple to hit it off with, instead.
Single Males ~VS~ Single Females - Whats the difference? - Since it has been brought up several times here, let me add my cents worth... I have attended swingers(as a single male) meet where only a few selective single males were invite... we were ask to pay 70 buck to enter where a couple was 30 and single female 10... Oh did I mention that we had to wear glowing armbands? and could only approach a female with a glowing armband, unless other wise invited to join??? What got me was the part where 4 single females came in, and not one had an armband... so tell me... what the hell did I pay 70 bucks for??
To me its a rip off.. I think that if females come without a male than they should be fair game for everyone, just as the men should... No is No... and if there is only a selected single males then where would there be a problem???
The bottom line is... these meets don't want single males to be involved for some reason... hell, I've gotten laid a lot cheaper than what I paid to get into the meet... and that included dinner driving and the whole nine yards...lol
But whats the difference???

What is up with Utah?! - Swingers in Utah and nowhere else? - I got a bit bored reading all the replies, plus it is pretty late at night, so I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned. From what I remember, the couple who started the site are from Utah. Since it started here more of the members are from here. I think it is one of those things where once you build up enough critical mass in an area it really starts to grow.

We have backed way off of these parties as when the Haloween party was winding down. One guy that was to drunk came over pulled my wifes top down and tried to suck on her nipples. I moved him away from her and his wife just giggled and said "he loves boobs" That was enough for us to take a step back.
To many get so drunk and blame that for their actions.

Anyone else getting sick of clubs - - I think a house party would be awesome....never been to one though. I keep moving so I have few friends. I come from Oklahoma "bible belt" so friends that understand and accept the lifestyle my husband and I desire are hard to find. In Tucson,AZ now and I am trying to figure out where to move after here to be overwhelmed by the freedoms true "swingers" offer! Any suggestions?
