OK LETS BE HONEST - - We got into the lifestyle because my wife was bi but didn't want to admit it to herself. Raised Catholic and it would be a mortal sin?????? All she had to do was see a woman naked and she got totally wet... I was aware of this for years but she insisted not.. We started going to a club to the socials and she loosened up slowly. At some point one of the women took her to her room and they got it on.. Then she went with another women and got it on another time... I didn't care that I wasn't there because it was for her not for me anyway. So now we are in the lifestyle at her whim... It was never about me in the first place... The lifestyle has made her more open to herself and freer, more able to talk about sexual things.
In the 9 or so years that we've been in the lifestyle I learned that while many times men get their wives into the lifestyle it is the wives that keep them in the lifestyle. Further, women completely control the lifestyle. It's kind of like the old expression; "If a man says he's boss at home, I wonder what else he lies about". The lifestyle is much like that. From discussions with other swingers I find that just a many wives get their husbands involved in the lifestyle as mwn do. I don't know about other places like UT or CO or TX but in NC, SC, VA, and many in FL the women rule the lifestyle and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Hosting a swingers Party - - Setting up parties can be difficult to do successfully. and yes you have to make sure that it is all legal as well.
One way that we found to get around all of this....... have a house party. have it either at your home or a friend's home. Guest must bring own drinks and a dish to pass. We have done lots of these. They work out great. Everyone seems to enjoy themselves better and don't have to worry about the police.

Here's something Ive been curious about - - I guess with the mind set of some here, IE singles aren't swingers, one could also make the statement that there's no such thing as swingers. Couples aren't swingers, they're just two people who are married and want some strange and talk each other into it. See how this works? And the comment that singles bring nothing to the table but themselves also applies to couples. You can only bring yourself to the table whether alone or with your partner and your partner does likewise. You just happen to do it at the same time. As to the difference between morals and ethics; I have always believed that morals are those things society pushes on you, be it your church, the law, family, ect, while ethics are those things you take for yourself and make a part of your own beliefs and actions.
Do I view myself as moral? Not really. I have consciously chosen to ignore those things which society has attempted to push on me in favor of what I believe to be right and wrong. I obey laws I don't agree with not because I believe those laws to be moral, or myself to be moral, but because I do not wish the repercussions of breaking those laws. That and I live in serious red-neck country and our prostitutes are just downright scary .
can we swing and still not be in sin ? - - You said you would explain how to swing without sinning. Most expressed apathy for the offer. Why, because "sinning" is something most swingers don't care about with regard to the activities in the lifestyle. Most either don't care or don't apply the word to their lives. I, as an atheist, do not give the word value. Sinning is a religous mans burden. So when you say you can "show me how to swing without sin", I reply, "I already am." ;)

Well my bf and i have been together 10 years. We have went to swinger clubs in vegas and had 3 somes with my friends... which the friendship never ended well... Leson learned there :-/
