Having been in the lifestyle for a while now, here’s some experiences we’ve had.
Parties with unrestricted access to single males: we attended a party with a ratio of 10 men to each woman, that was not a gang-bang. And only 3-4 of the women were willing to play (Mrs being one of them). It was not as fun and lots of people decided to leave after an hour or so.
Parties with screened single men. These are usually better. These guys usually understand the expectations and are respectful. That being said some “coupled” men have gotten overly aggressive and have been asked to leave. Still these are generally much better, with folks much more relaxed and having a great time. The ladies feel more free to do as they like without feeling like they’ll be swarmed by dicks like they’re in a bukkake film.
Clubs with lots of single men. First, when we arrived there were LOTS of men waiting to get in. Then when we got in, lots of dudes were all over Mrs. She does like the attention, but can get overwhelmed. When she did select a nice, respectful guy to take for some fun, we went to a play room and got undressed, then he let in 3 more dudes. Presumably he had an agreement to let his buddies in, and had not asked Mrs. if that would be okay. We told them to get out, all of them. Had to get staff to assist and escort them out. Never went back. And we’ve been cautious about venues with lots of loose dicks ever since.
So it’s not usually anything about any single man in particular, but experience has shown us, and many in the lifestyle, that having lots of loose dicks about can at best put a damper on a party, and at worst generate lots of drama. And this is why we don’t attend events with lots of single men and very few of any other demographic.

You can’t expect others to not have have rules but have them yourself. It’s not single males that are the issue either, rather the lack of respect/socialization. Everyone is here to have a good time and not everyone is going to be your cup of tea. A lot of swingers I know are mature, respectful and want the same thing in return. Maybe just your experience and what your looking for is the problem.

Fun bar to meet people at in slc - - If you're just dropping in to pick-up a woman (or vice versa) to bang and have a few laughs with over the next few months Club 90 is hard to beat. It's not necessarily a swingers club and I wouldn't expect to meet any without some pre-planning.
Basically Club 90 is filled with lots of divorced men and women looking to replace the old schmuck with a new schmuck.
Again not a swingers specific crowed, but if you want to meet a lot of single and fun people Liquid Joe's on Saturday night can be a blast, especially if their house band The Spazmatics (or Metal Gods, same group, just different music) are playing. The Crowd at Liquid Joe's probably averages 10 to 15 years younger than Club 90.
I have seen folks from the LS community at both places. But it's not what most are there for and you'll probably just be knowledged with a nod if they recognize you... anyhoo... hope the helps.
Wannabes and net fakes - Will the real lifestyle members please stand up - How many of you have taken the time to examine just how many of the coined and meaningless profiles there are on the net in general, not just here on this site.
We have been in the lifestyle as life as allowed for over 25 yrs. Long before the introduction of the net. Now it seems the lifestyle as an entire new perspective. Lets see we have who knows how many version of "swingers" Hard, soft, mild, wild, interested, looking for, etc etc. That said and in consideration of all of these well coined and copied versions, I have a suggestion for one, HOW ABOUT "REAL" Real replies to emails or messages, Real arrives for scheduled meetings, Real post genuine pictures, Real is proud of their gender and does not have to "fake" another's, Real would never open a dialogue with "interested what are you looking for", Real has actually either involved themselves in the lifestyle or at the least have a genuine desire to physically do so, not play games. And finally, "Real" respects others by being real in person, on the net and or the phone, Give it a try people, you may find this lifestyle very interesting by being "Real"
Singles posing as couples - - What about us? We're actually swingers who like to meet nice people. Sometimes even singles. Sometimes men. Sometimes women. sometimes couples. Some plump. Some skinny. It appears that there are enough swingers that are also believers in a god. Perhaps you should form a more tolerant version to the faith and recruit members. That's pretty much how all the other branches got their start. The believed differently from the "mainstream". Those that believe god or the gods could give a fuck about your sex life should make your own version. Hell you can even write a supplemental to the Original christian bible. If there is such a thing. Anyway, I say do what makes you feel right. If you fuck and it doesn't feel wrong, then fuck. The only people who say it's a "sin" are humans.
AG, That just proves that many religions families usually ignore one of the fundemental principles of "God's Intent" and rob individuals the right of free will until they are away from the grips of their families. People feel so dependant on the church because the church is all they know.
