Preconceived Ideas - - I Guess in the start of all this, or b4 we actually experienced anything in the lifestyle.....we may have had a preconception that it was all about sex, but have sensed realized that it is more for social gatherings of open minded friends. (not that sexual fun doesnt sometimes come of the open minded gathering......) We have a ton of fun at these gatherings, and now have some lifetime friends that we have a good time with no matter what we are doing. It isnt just about the sex like we first thought, and in the start we were kinda afraid that ppl who were more experienced would be pushy, or that our relationship would be disrespected, BUT that is SO far from how it actually is. There is a lot more respect given to a relationship at one of these gatherings then you can find at any other place on a saturday night, thats for sure! We would much rather hang out with swingers then anyone else....at any given time!!! Way fun people, respectful, and non judgemental.......a crowd that we perfer to hang out with!

Policing Ourselves - Can it be done? - Recently a suggestion was made that we as a group need to educate and police ourselves as a group in this our chosen lifestyle (thats swinging for all us simple folk) .
In order to do this effectively wouldnt there have to be some set of rules that everyone would be expected to adhere to? What would those rules be? how would they be created and ratified? would swingers from their respective states send represntatives to a central location to vote on these rules(oops now we get into politics) ? If you were teaching a new person (regarless of marital status or gender) the rules about swinging what would you teach them first?
I really would love to hear as much as possible from you guys.

INCEST - Is it sooooooo wrong? - First of all I\'m not going to be the one running and hiding if I run into someone in my family.. I\'m not a native NCarolinian either... This is one of the Hot beds of swinging right now with some 15 clubs in the state and more opening all the time. As for incest.. that\'s been one of the bible belt\'s most prolific sports. Drunks, drugs and incest... None of which is condoned in the right winged religious groups.. Ministers getting their perrisheners pregnant, having sex with their yungins, drinking till you cain\'t stand up and or usin drugs to keep the smell of the hogs outchur nose. We\'ve got ABC here ... Alcohol Beverage Control in NC.. Which controls what you can buy how much you pay but doesn\'t address drunks buying liquor.
Incest is the least of anyones worries here... Beard, I know of sisters and brothers in the lifestyle... they don\'t play with each other but belong to the same club. Sisters who play with each others husbands...Not sure how close that is and if\'n ya evha waches the Jayree Springa show yo\'ll see plenty of that stuff, incest, girl doing brother and sister doing sister and mother doing daughter etc.. and they aren\'t even swingers....
