Black Ring, Right Hand - How to tell if someone's a swinger - We used to go to the occasional lifestyle takeover/trip and would invariably be issued a wristband upon arrival so that we could get into events at the hotel or resort. It usually took about half a day for word to leak out, first among hotel employees and then later the general public, that swingers were around the area and that they could be identified by their wristbands. I guarantee if the black ring thing took off that very soon there would be multiple internet stories as well as likely regular news outlets that "swingers" wear black rings on their right hands and there goes any anonymity. The VAST majority of swingers would then not dare wear the accessory for fear of being seen/identified in public as a swinger. MUCH easier to just attend private swinging events where you have a reasonable assurance that all or most in attendance are indeed swingers rather than spend a lot of time cruising the bars or whatever looking for people wearing black rings. So who makes these rules? Cheating is cheating...that is true. But how do you know what goes on in other aspects of the lives of the couples you meet? Can someone be "banned" from the lifestyle? I think everyone has to do what they feel comfortable with, but we shouldn't say that someone else isn't a swinger because they live their life differently. The same way many of us try to say that a cheater or a single can't be swinger if their partner is unaware, that can be equated to a Christian saying that swingers can't be Christians because even if their spouse knows it is still sex out of wedlock. Or slim people saying fat people shouldn't be called swingers because they do not find them sexy. Anyone can be a swinger, it is just up to us as individuals or couples to choose who we wish to play with, and not be judgemental or condescending to those with whom we choose not to.

can we swing and still not be in sin ? - - Since I've been sucked into the swirling vortex of this thread, the only way I can feel like I haven't been robbed of the last 1/2 hr (give or take) of my life is to add my .02 Ok, I know I could just chalk it up to that which doesn't kill me only makes me stronger, but adding my input seems more satisfying.
I'll start off by saying that if you are doing this much research regarding religions and what they allow or don't allow regarding sexual activity it has to make me wonder if you're seriously considering converting to another religion just to save yourself the guilt of sin brought upon by whatever religion you happen to be at the moment. All religions have been formed and molded over the years by people. People who are not perfect, who have their own agendas. A sense of right and wrong doesn't come solely from religion. Many religions would like you to think that in an attempt to keep you in their camp and they'll be more than happy to tell you what is right and wrong for the rest of your life (in case you can't think for yourself).
But if you have to switch religions just so that you can sleep at night after a fun-filled evening of swinging, you have some other things to figure out. Or perhaps you should just start you're own religion, where you can make all the rules. In any case, I think its fairly safe to say that most religions believe quite strongly that those of us engaging in the swinging lifestyle are sinning by engaging in immoral activities, just cuz they don't use the actual word sin, doesn't mean anything. Its just more politically correct these days to say immoral. In any case though, they most certainly believe that we (swingers) will most definitely be going to a very special level of hell, a level reserved for... (sorry, narrowly avoided an obsure pop culture reference)
As for me, yes I believe there is a God. And one of the few things that I think is accurately stated repeatedly in the bible is to love thy neighbor and I'm more than happy to spread the love around in whatever way/shape is available to me.

Playing with \"swingers\" vs \"nonswingers\" - - Something to consider is that non-swingers often view swingers as people who will sleep with anyone as long as they are breathing, hence much of the eagerness expressed on the non-swingers part to be involved. Single males who are into swinging at least understand that they have been chosen and there is such as thing as discretion involved in such encounters.
This isn\'t always the case, but it is something we have experienced with some of our friends who aren\'t swingers that have open enough minds to handle the fact that we are, but don\'t get that we don\'t have sex with any and every available person. If you do decide to go ahead with it, I would suggest that you have a real talk with this guy to make sure he really understands where you\'re coming from and where things are headed (ie. no kissing or anything else and then telling, unless you don\'t mind).

The epitome of poor taste - - What surprises me most about some of the "swingers" is the lack of open-mindedness. You don't have to like our appearance, but, fuck, try and get to know someone's personality sometime. Even if you don't attract sexually, at least you gave it an effort, you never know unless you try.
We had the pleasure of meeting NP and several others at the big Swingular party, and we had a fucking great time just chatting and getting to know one another. Where is it written that swinging means you automatically spread your legs for others.
We are not that type of swinging couple, we prefer to get to know a little about the couple or group first. Physical appearance is part of it, but, arouse me with intellect and personality, and I am yours! :)
