Ugly people and swinging - - A few years ago we met our first "swingers." They were in their 50's, overweight, and not attractive. We eventually met more of their friends who were equally overweight and not attractive. They were always trying to entice us to participate in their "swinging" activities. It seemed as if all these couples lost interest in each other and just wanted some other person besides their own partner to fuck. They were always looking to trade up and we were the outcasts for not participating. The overweight ugly people always hide behind "inner beauty" and "connection." Sorry, I don't get it. My girl doesn't get it even more than me.
I'm aware that ugly people need love too. It's great when two ugly couples can come together and eventually....come together. You know who you are. Or at least others know who you are.
Attraction is everything in this lifestyle. Standards vary not only from couple to couple but person to person. does anyone else go through periods of doubt? - as to whether this lifestyle is what they want? - This is a 'lifestyle' and there are many different types of people in it. The definition of a swinger has changed drastically and the description you provided still falls into that definition. A lot of people choose this lifestyle because of it's openness and sexual energy. You don't have to have sex with everyone you meet to be a swinger or be in the lifestyle. Selectivity is a virtue and you have the right. Most swingers rarely hook up with others until they find the 'right' situation. But that doesn't make you less of a swinger than those who do every weekend.

Is HABITS still the place to go? - - Habits:
Pros: Great music, food delish, cool/friendly staff.
Cons: Drinks pricey/watered down, music too loud, "dress code", popular hangout with self proclaimed elite swingers.
Club 48:
Pros: Drinks great, music at reasonable level, relaxed atmosphere.
Cons: Food sucks, understaffed, sometimes music sucks too.
Northern Exposure:
Pros: Private room with private smoking area, some drinks good, music at reasonable level, music ok.
Cons: Some drinks pricey/watered down and they seem to run out of their "specials" quickly, food sucks too, staff really busy (altho they are friendly).

swingin - thought this site was a swingers site - As I've said before.... Regardless of the category one slides crap into it still stinks. Little snide remarks about people..their grammer or use of U for YOU or 4 for the word FOUR and other shortcuts used on the web elseware. Maybe this person, the original posted, may be from some other country and has a limited vocabulary and or limited grammer. We are one of the only countries that speak only one language... Try German or French or Vietnamese, Chinees, or maybe Spanish, if that is not your native language. Most people try to communicate and people understand that there are limitations.
I understand that this is an open forum here, but forums on other sites have been shut down for lesser crapola than is used here. One shut down when the Gulf war started. Too much about death and opinions on the administration and the why or why not of being in a war. Then that sparked flaming, name calling and more. On this very site someone got very political and there was a call to have that one ousted. He was.. Maybe you remember him. And he used this very forum to voice his opinions..... So... Why do so many think that they are right and some others are wrong? If we voluntarily make things better... we will have a more friendly site and Forum. It's easy to say "if you don't like it don't read it", then why is this post 8 pages long????????????????? It's just that this site has become very controversal in that we love to piss on each other and on each other's thoughts... I got to page 5 and couldn't go any farther... Where do you go have Adult only sexual fun in Vegas... - Sexual fun - As a local who has been to almost all of the clubs in Vegas, I will tell you that the Red Rooster and Green Door both get a lot of single guys hoping to get lucky. Not all of the them are old (and of course that is a relative term) but at the Rooster there is just a small couples only area upstairs, with the dance floor downstairs with the BYOB bars. That said, it is worth a trip once to experience it.
Same goes for the Green Door, except that meeting new couples there is difficult. There is a mix of single guys and couples floating around and the couples areas are set up so there is viewing but no contact by the single guys. Many of the couples are equally tourists who just want to see what it is about, some just looking at the other couples playing and maybe a bit of touching and the rare BJ, but they don;t seem to want to join in much.
Couples Oasis is strictly couples only, single women and the rare single guy must come with a couple and stay with them. While there are some cliques, you can approach most of the folks there and find some new people to play with. Also BYOB bar and they have a simple buffet in case you need a snack or more.
Swingers Circle has had mixed reviews, with some complaining about the costs and also the locations that move around.
