Heidi Hatch was the reporter and apparently she started a profile and was communicating with couples here on Singular (yes, they identified Swingular by name and showed numerous screen shots and even some profile names) who wanted to make sure swinging wasn't portrayed in a purely negative manner. Have you considered he might be a single male posing as married? We have seen that a few times over the years. My point is there is no one to validate him or his story. When we have differences of opinions or ask for advice on the site we recognize who we are talking about and can respect or have some faith in what they are saying.
I believe if your going to talk about a specific person in a negative way on a forum they should have the right to see it and defend themselves.

I care about my partners, and their well-being. We have a relationship, we communicate before we meet others, we use protection, and are respectful of feelings. We spend holidays together, do family things, and yes I call them friend, but we share more than just sex. I would never characterize them as friends of convenience.
