Black Ring, Right Hand - How to tell if someone's a swinger - OMG! Just had a client walk in and notice my black tungsten wedding ring (I've had one for a couple of years now.) He told me that it I were to wear it on my right hand it would indicate I was gay. I told him I had heard that it indicated other things (didn't elaborate) and he assured me, and I guess he would know since he and his partner have been together over 20 years and finally were allowed to get married last winter, that it meant gay at...least among his friends and acquaintances. Oh, and fwiw, when we first started swinging (back about the time Madame Curie was JUST starting to glow in the dark a little) the big thing was a necklace, or ring, or t-shirt, or even a tattoo of an apple with a bite out of it. Saw a few people wearing them at conventions/takeovers but never once have we ever seen anyone wear them in a vanilla public venue.

The net is by far the best way. The two main clubs near us are not good hunting ground and are pricey to join/attend. The next best clubs are in DC, but then you have 2 or more hours between anyone you might meet there.
Place truthful ads about what you want and don't be afraid to respond to the ones already posted. Also Yahoo groups are a great place to meet people by interest.

The Vent part II - Secrecy - Hi all, me again here with another vent.
As we have turned into full blown swingers, our "Vanilla" friends are becoming an issue.
We usually swing out of town for two reasons, first there are very few swingers in our area, and I'm having my doubts that the ones that are here are who they say they are, and second, (as a friend once said) we are in a small town and can't "shit in our own nest."
The problem is we are very fun people to be around (not bragging,) and when we go out of town our Vanilla friends want to come with us.
This leads into the problem, if we take our friends out of town with us we can't find someone to play with, or we have to "out" ourselves to them which leads to SO many other issues that I don't even want to contemplate what could happen then. (Basically all of them would not be open and understanding.)
So we are planning a trip to Mesquite, for all you Northerners that's like Wendover, and some of our Vanillas want to come, but we want to "hook up" while we are there, and if we don't "hook up" we could still have alot of fun with our regular friends.
So do we risk putting a wedge in our friendships by making up stories and lies, or do we give up on getting some? its like a double edged sword, (we would love to have more swinger friends, but I will refer you to above statement about lack of real swingers in our area.)
In many ways I would love to just announce at the next bash that we are swingers now and they should just deal with it, but we all know that's NOT a good idea.
Any thoughts or ideas? I guess we just have to pick one huh?

Swingers Rock Club - Live music, Dancing, and Sexy Friends - The next party is June 3rd at 9:30 pm. This is a big place with plenty of tables and a large dance floor. It's an open party, so no need to RSVP. A country setting with a relaxed atmosphere. There is always strong sexual overtones on the dance-floor, and pulse pounding music to move your body.
