Damn Utah couples! :) - - Its funny how the non-mormons and the jack-mormons form a type of "instant bond" when they find each other. Its kind of like a us vs. them mentality. Here is a funny little story: I used to work with a guy in Utah who was a returned missionary. His wife and he used to get together with a bunch of other couples as part of a religious/social group. The number of couples grew to about 10. Eventually it became more social and less religious. It finally developed into a swingers group that was quite active. Then there was some cheating and some jealousy and drama. Eventually it all fell apart and the couples scrambled back to the Church vowing never to return. In fact, we even know the origin of their screen name. It's, like, short for 'recondition' or 'reconstruction' or 'recontour' or something like that. Anyway, I just thought I would use his/her acerbic comment as a teaching moment to help anyone new to the scene with some of the jargon or slang, if you will, that swingers use so that they'll know which tab (usually A) goes into which slot (usually B)...and when. We were taking off our clothes at wholly inappropriate times (and places), tabs were going into the wrong slots (often even into the wrong genders!), dogs and cats were sleeping together...it was MAYHEM. Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - We single men are viewed as simply looking to get laid rather than to enhance our experience with a spouse or partner. Further, often single men get possessive or overbearing attempting to get sex from someone's partner without both people knowing about. This leads to hostility and rejection. In most cases, this author believes we single men get this reputation because it is deserved. I don't think it is hate that is the problem. It is simply people not wanting to risk the the above mentioned outcomes. In Utah there seems to be lots of young single guys on the site. My question is, "why can't they find someone in town to be with?" This site is NOT about single men getting laid. It is really for excitement between partners. If all a guy wants is to get laid, he should go to the local bar. Otherwise on here, he is fooling himself. This is not a market for single men at all. Once in a while some single guy gets lucky, like hitting the lotto, but it is not a regular experience for most men. Don't go to McDonalds when you want a taco.
