Signals, Identifying 'markers' - Do scarves, jewelry, or other items worn a certain way ID you as part of the lifestyle? - We have never heard of the gold ring but the pendant that is growing in popularity in Utah seems like a nice way to distinguish swingers in crowd. Being both straight, we prefer to be upfront and just say it like it is so there are no surprises. We have brought the pendant up in a few groups we belong to or run here in Florida and hope we can follow Utah and make this the universal way to find each other in a crowd.

Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - "Well regardless of what some folks say, age is a determining factor, especially when you reach the, "remind me of my dad" attitude, or even "you could be my grandfather"" So, what advice would hand those that are told they remind other couples of their kids? Youth seems to be as much of a stumbling block from what I have observed as agedness.

Utah - - OK, I just have to throw out something I have been noticing alot. A bunch of people seem to rag on Utah and say that everyone here is judgemental and that this place is hard to live in. I have just read in alot of posts that they dont know how or where to meet like minded people. First , I think this site is a perfect start, or a bar, or whatever it is yall like to do, start there. Maybe its because I live in Ogden, but i havent really met, or have anyone in my life who really judges me for what i think or do....Maybe its because I have a good radar for cool peoples lol. And just make friends who i know are non-judgemental..Anyways I am not from here (been here 10 years though) but I fairly well like this place! And there are alot of Swingers here, which i find to be the best attribute of any place!!! Sorry for the rant, just my rambling for the month

Orgy Party by Swingers Circle in Las Vegas - -
We attended once, left at the break...comically bad, like something that swinger horror stories are made of. Words can't describe the creep factor vibe that the organizer gives off, we still laugh about it several years later.
Same here, wouldn't recommend. I'm still having nightmares.

Favorite bars in utah - - Yes, I read the article. Our experience (getting close to 30 years in the swinging trenches) has shown that the authorities almost invariably use other (easier to prosecute) issues to shut down naughty things like swinging parties. Recently in Texas they're trying to use zoning ordinances and disturbing the peace and, believe it or not, parking ordinances. Quite often it's alcohol related. Not too many years ago with a local, fairly prominent swinger who held frequent parties in his upscale neighborhood they nailed him for providing alcohol to minors (apparently one girl at one of his parties was not yet 21). And I would ague that Las Vegas is anything but tolerant for swingers parties or really anything related to sex. They love to sell the idea of sex but when the rubber meets the road they are as intolerant as anywhere we've been. I don't remember the last hotel takeover we attended in Vegas where a topless pool wasn't promised and then shut down by the local authorities. Of course the big money hotels have absolutely no problem providing topless pools...if they can charge a hefty premium to do so. Vegas is all sizzle and no steak (in the vernacular of my grandfather).

North Ogden Police - Need a fitness program - I'm not really sure what you mean about "swingers constantly say(ing) they are not treated equally". And I don't think anyone really had an issue with what he posted as far as necessarily disagreeing with his views. Although to be honest I'm pretty certain it was a fair bit of hyperbole. I think they, perhaps somewhat ineloquently, took issue with him posting something on a swingsite that perhaps would have been better posted on the North Ogden City website or maybe on the KSL.com news hotline. And then of course RUSTY (the l'il scamp) took issue with them taking issue and as he is often wont to do made it a personal attack. And me being EVIL I just sat back and laughed at his self immolation. I apologize. Now on the other hand, calling RUSTY a gentleman...well, that's just uncalled for! I'm jest a funnin' ya man. Let's all go over ta Miss Kitty's an I'll buy ya both a nice cold sasparilla and we can talk about fat cops and equality for swingers. We should totally boycott Conference next week until they make a swinger a G.A.. [em]Emo_84[/em]

Swinging and LDS... - Are the two compatible? I know this is a huge can of worms... - We were talking to someone we thought was a "vanilla" friend last night. She has told us in the past how she is a total LDS member and "very religious", yet we just found out that she is and has been in the lifestyle for quite a while. We are a bit perplexed. While we are not LDS, we assume the church would frown on the lifestyle. Is this not the case? Or are LDS'rs living a "double life"? We all do to a certain extent, we don't advertise that we are swingers. But, to you who are active LDS members, how hard is to maintain while attending church? To those who are not and have dated LDS members, is it difficult to have poly relationships with members? What are some of the obstacles? We do like her very much.

Playing with \"swingers\" vs \"nonswingers\" - - When all else fails listen to your \"gut instinct\". It\'s better to be safe than sorry.

Are swingers moral? - Who determines what morals are? -
Give me a moral swinger over a cheating, lying, decieving spouse any day!!!!!
well said there is something to be said about knowing instead of jumping to what if's
