OK LETS BE HONEST - - We got into the lifestyle because my wife was bi but didn't want to admit it to herself. Raised Catholic and it would be a mortal sin?????? All she had to do was see a woman naked and she got totally wet... I was aware of this for years but she insisted not.. We started going to a club to the socials and she loosened up slowly. The lifestyle has made her more open to herself and freer, more able to talk about sexual things.
In the 9 or so years that we've been in the lifestyle I learned that while many times men get their wives into the lifestyle it is the wives that keep them in the lifestyle. Further, women completely control the lifestyle. It's kind of like the old expression; "If a man says he's boss at home, I wonder what else he lies about". The lifestyle is much like that. First Meeting - - After about 5 years of being in the lifestyle that is still a problem for us on knowing when is the right time to take it to the next level. Our first time was unexpected. Just as there are people that are hospitable in all of the world. Southern Hospitality is no more present than Northern Hospitality. Where you are from says nothing about the individual. If you understood any of what I said, you would know that. Your post suggested that the state you live in has something to do with your tact. That is absolute disinformation. It is propagandist intolerant garbage. All states have their assholes and their good people.
I would also like to say that Liberalism or Conservatism also have nothing to do with it. All you are proving is that you, like most other are biased based upon your affiliations. Is that bad??? No. Just don't try and convince everyone that you are somehow better based upon your locale or political affiliation. We are all human. We shit, eat, sleep, hate, love, laugh and cry the same. You are no better than the next.
