The Vent part II - Secrecy - Small towns are a real pain in the posterior. We were asked if I was at the hospital when we came in at about 4am. We told tham that we were at a party that lasted a bit longer than we had expected. People here talk about other people on the other side of town... I think they can tell what you ate last night, and will tell everyone they comeincontact with about it. A for this specific case... I think I would just tell them that you have plans that do not involve them but maybe another time when things are not planned. Being good friends with "vanilla" people who are so hanggie oners can be a real drag if you are in the lifestyle. As for telling most people that you swing... well to say the least..... DOn't... I wouldn't tell my right winged brother that we swing... He would probably have a conniption. If friends ask if you swing, they alreasy have the notion and they are still there so if you think it's prudent... OK. Never just tell anyone just so that you are honest with you and in a small town.... you will probably be ostrisized. We have contacted people in this town who are on other sites and they usually will not answer a note. Afraid that people will find out who they are. We have met people on the streets that we know from clubs and generally just say hi or exchange pleasantries.... Happened yesterday at a local restaurant...met a guy with his daughter and we said hi and were very warm but the daughter looked very confused by it all... His wife wasn't there so we figured that his daughter was taking Dad out for FathersDay. Have met people we have played with and just said hi and little more and moved on... I haven't aclue why anyone would duck out of a club if they see some one they know, even a relative. They are there for the same reason as you and might be just as imbarrassed but your secrete is safe with them. One of my girlfriends and my wife and I were at a club social and she ran into her husbands boss... Nothing ever came of it and they didn't even ask why he wasn't there or who we were. We swingers are a very descreet lot, for the most part.. and seeing someone you know, at a club, generally results in nothing but another friend. We go to socials/dances/parties just about every week but in towns not too far away... If we meet people we know we are most likely to talk to them and say hi and talk about how great the music is that night or even hook up.... So one never knows ... Life is a joke within a joke sometimes.... and one need to learn how to laugh at what it brings to the table.
Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - Yeah, a lot of insecurity showing here and generalized statements. I like reading people's opinions and their own take on these discussions. But if you do it, please don't paint everyone with your brush. Really, we're adults and can speak for ourselves. :D

Speed dating swinging style - - So the reason we (KOIGIRL) and I hosted it was we were tired of the meet and greets where everyone had their cliques. Also the parties we went to were not swinger parties. Everyone stood around until someone got drunk and then there was drama. Not all parties are like this, but the one's we went to were. So we decided to hold the party.
First, we held it at my place. Second, we screened those who attended. there were young couples and vet swingers. We limited it to 10 couples invited (8 showed). We did have some drinks and refreshments, but once everyone got there people drew a number 1-4. There were two of each number. Based on the number you paired off with the couple with the same number. A timer was set for 20 minutes. Everyone went someplace quiet and just talked. When the timer went off, one group rotated. So those that had 4 went to 1 and so on. After a little over an hour, we went into the family room and had a few drinks and were talking about doing a second round. However, this didn't happen as truth or dare started. Almost everyone was naked. There was a new couple who was shy but even they opened up. If anyone was uncomfortable, there were other rooms. It was made clear that no unwanted advances would be tolerated. There weren't instances of this. People started breaking off and going into separate rooms for fun. Hosting a swingers Party - - Two things which may cause problems.. Does OK have any laws which prohibit or limit or place restriction on the number of people who can be in a room or place for the purpose of having consensual sex? And as part of the first question, Is there a restriction on how many may have sex together... like sodomy laws..?
Then if you collect money for any purpose it may be considered a business and a permit may be required to meet state law? Two clubs in NC in different locations have closed because of violation of state liquor laws. The parties have been being held in one place for 5 yrs and it was on private property and they charged nothing save for a "donation" to defray costs of setups and food that they supplied for their parties. The local constabulary determined that the Booze that was present (this is a BYOB situation and no liquor sold) in the home(which they called a business) without a license is in violation of state liquor law. They couldn't bust them for sex violations since NC cannot see behind closed doors. BTW both of these places conducted parties on Saturday nights regularly.. So please check regulatory bodies about sex laws and about liquor laws.. Tell them point blank that you want to have a lifestyle party in a public building in a suit or group of rooms that will be closed to the general public and that no alcohol will be sold or served but that people are encouraged to bring what they wish to drink and like any responsible person you will not allow people to drink and drive..You know that if people get intoxicated and have an accident the people who own the bar or who threw the party can be held responsible for contributing to that accident. You can have lifestyle parties without hard booze.... and have plenty of coffee abvailable for people who need or want it.. Be careful who you invite too..know who is at your party that they are not from the local constabulary.. Oh and NO DRUGS allow in the door.. Drugs on the premises can get people arrested who have nothing to do with drugs and you arrested as the people who rented or own the property. Just a few pit-falls that could cum up an bite you in the butt.
Swingers Vacation Spots - Help us - We've heard that there are quite a few single men at Hedo...but the point to remember is that not all swingers go to Hedo. It's a place to be nude and many swingers are there. We've heard that even if you don't swing, it's the most relaxing vacation there could be. This is another reason we want to attend.....lots of watching others play too....hehehehe. I don't think we've ever heard anything bad about the place at all. It's a resort, therefore there are lots and lots of fun things to do....check it out online. Take care :z
