Swingers - a couples only lifestyle? - Are singles considered to be swingers? - I'm sure this will get a comment or two, but it's something we've thought about and have read about on other sites. NASCA states about swinging: "Though single men and women are involved, it is primarily an activity of couples.". So is a single person considerd to be in the lifestyle when they are looking to connect with a couple or single ? It'll be interesting to hear what others have to say. To us, being in the lifestyle means exchanging partners - which means sex between couples. If we bring a single woman in to play it's not swinging - it's being intimate with a third. He/she cannot be considered a swinger because they have no spouse/significant other to participate with them and they're acting alone. Does this happen to any other women? - General Discussion - This is sort of a venting as well as a general question. A bit personal, I know...however judging by other forums, I think it will be acceptable. I just want to know how other swingers perceive it and/or deal with it. For some strange reason it seems that whenever we make plans to go out to a swinger's club for a special party, or a really good swinger's house party...Aunt Flo shows up uninvited. The Bible is a collection of books and stories that were handed down by word of mouth and then laid down in writing in Sanskrit, and ancient Hebrew and then to a more modern form of Hebrew as well a Ancient Greek.. then a more modern version of Greek. These text were translated by the "Holy" Roman Church and transcribed for humanity and the masses control by monks under papal control. many of the Cannons of the Roman Catholic Church have been more or less adopted by the secular or temporal law, the law of the government. Some things need to be understood about the Bible. IT was written by men translated from dead languages or languages that had changed and it is entirely possible that it was manipulated for the purposes of the Church... So where does that put us.... We believe what we want to, what we have been programmed to or we modify that programming to allow for us to do what we feel we have a right to do. What we believe will allow us to still live a good life even if it is against the mores and ethics of the church and or the temporal laws. It kind of like going 70 in a 65 MPH zone... We feel we have a right, besides we'll probably not get caught and maybe we just want to see if we will get caught.. Doing things against ones religion is like that to some extent... Maybe God is watching Mary down the street. Maybe I don't believe that my church is right. Maybe heaven and hell are a fabrication of religion to keep us in line... Maybe God was invented by man to explain why things are what they are and why things happen the way they do... Do we have to reconcile our lives to religious "BELIEFS" or do we live our lives the best way we know. Harm no one if possible. Live life to the fullest, it's too short to play it too safe. Oh and before I forget, someone stated that they love their creator....Isn't that kind of like swinging.... He/She is not our mate. Oh and how about the old testament... All the wives of Solomon and David. How about Isaac... His wife gave him her hand maden and besides if you look at the text... he already had several concubines as did many other biblical figures.... I think maybe we could call them all swingers.....So beat this subject to the ground and in the end it's all up to what you WANT to BELIEVE.

Single Male Market - Need feedback on a feature idea. - So maybe the couples and females who use this Male Market, need to register as do the males, and put out a new pic every 3 months too..... Not sure about that aspect of the proposal as I do know a lot of people in my area and do not really want my face out there for anyone who signs up to see. Perhaps that Idea of allowing us to manage the photos like we do now to reveal to specific people. I am a great guy, and I know several others here from meet and greets, who really fit well with couples or single ladies. I have had some great and regular fun with members of this site. I admit there are several really jackass guys on here looking for God who knows what, but there has to be a better way, than to segregate the "single guys" from the rest of the heard. Some casual meetups I have had on here, were kind of sketchy. Going in, I had some of the same concerns about the couple that many of you say you have about the single males on here. Turned out it was great fun for all involved. I have had some really rotten couples here who play the same games that are complained about on single men. Swingers In Uniform - Pay your memorial day respects here. - I whole-heartedly agree with your statement...as I mentioned earlier in the thread...I spent 20 years (and two wars) of my life defending the country and it's constitution...and the constitution guarantees everyone the right to say just about anything (short of perjury) they want... As much as I dislike what was said, I have spent my life defending his right to say it... This whole thing brings back a memory...many years ago (please excuse some of the "wording" as it's not meant to offend, it's simply exact quotes of others)... When I was a young Second Lieutenant, my unit was sent to do "riot control" for a large march by Hosea Williams and his group...as you can guess, the Klan, skinheads and other distasteful groups planned to (and did) show up to "counter protest"...my unit was scheduled to be deployed between the two groups... The night before, I was talking to my platoon...talking about the possibilities of the next morning when the march/protest...hoping that I might prepare them for the verbal abuse they were sure to endure, we talked about it and how to react...my platoon sergeant (who happened to be black) asked me "So sir...are you saying they might call me Nigger?" Of course, it was said tongue in cheek...he KNEW that is what we were talking about...knew it was going to happen...and simply put us all at ease by just saying it and getting it out in the open...his response was so true: "Sir, those are just words and I really feel sorry for those people who have so much anger and hate in them that their only outlet is such an ignorant display - if they were really capable of expressing themselves intelligently they wouldn't have to resort to that - when I remember that, I realize just how much I feel sorry for them...and it's hard to get mad at someone you pity" - plus, I'm a soldier and I have sworn to protect their right to call me a Nigger"... At that, everyone in the room laughed quite loudly...my platoon sergeant was quite the philosopher if you ask me...
