We are very new at going to parties and so we may try a few meet and greets this weekend... plus we want to find some couples to talk to, who may have been to hedo11. Sorry you seem to be having problems but sometimes things just go with the territory. There may be a few times where someone may send a mail before completely reading a profile. We don't do it often but have had it happen a time or two and we are pretty sure we aren't the only ones who have made that mistake at least once.
Secondly, while your profile does state what you are looking for, please try and remember what type of site this is. While not completely uncommon, it is rare to find a couple "just looking to be social friends". Usually there is a desire to at least have some sort of "soft swing" , " girl on girl" etc.......
We don't see anything wrong with your reply to the other couple, there are times when a reply can lead to offense taken by the other couple no matter how well worded it may have been. No need to worry always, as it is impossible to please everyone everytime : ) Just do your best to be polite.
If you and your husband are not on the same level here, ie: one looking for more or less than the other, it might be a wonderful idea to take a step back, talk openly and honestly with one another and make sure you are both heading in the same direction before jumping in. If you truly love each other, it isn't worth losing a marraige over of course, and if either of you have any reservations regarding the other, this certainly wouldn't be the place to find those answers. Swingers Party - Doesnt mean who ever is there is open to everyone elsa - Behavior like that is sad to see and worse to experience. I was groped by a man on the dance floor at a club not too long ago and worst of all was the fact that he almost needed to grab me to keep from falling over. We had seen him on the dance floor earlier, but had thought that the women he was fondling were friends of his. Apparently they weren't, but not one of them said anything to anyone about it, except for me. And that is the one of the reasons that I personally love that particular club so much is that he was quickly removed after we said something. Most clubs, if such things are occurring will quickly "take care" of the situation for you so that you can continue to have a good time, if it hasn't been completely ruined by the experience. Just wanted to share my experience.

Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - Being that we are in the older bracket, I would say that yes age can be a factor. It depends on the individuals involved, but many times people put upper limits on play partners and anyone over that age is a null factor. There are several women on this site over the age of 50 who may make some couples rethink their age limit or make an exception for them. Weare very active in the club scene here in NC and people know us and age doesn't seem to be much of a factor. I don't think that staying in ones own age bracket is the thing so much as the perception that older people are over the hill both in looks and performance. Just remember if you get too old to cut the mustard, you're never too old to lick the jar it came in.
Swinger and/or Polyamorous FB Groups? - - I have heard there is a Utah swingers group but it’s a secret group so I’ve yet to find it. Essentially need to know someone in it in order to get in. Hopefully someone on here is in it!
