I grew up in utah brighamcity.. then i moved to live with other relatives in eden (above ogden for those who dont know).... we lived on a dairy farm and were a close family... yes LDS.. not to mix or go pro or con... but that was how it is.... to the point.. I am in search of the siblings i grew up with... they may or may not still live in utah... probably ogden.. clearfield area.... to my knowledge not swingers but i havent seen them or had contact for about 25 years....So who knows... but the main point there is enuf peeps from the northern utah on this site someone will know them if they are still in the area... wether it be friends, co workers or in the same ward. question is are we going to be crucified for mentioning their names on here (even tho its not sexually related) as a attempt to locate them? Travel and first time - - Your comments make me wonder if you should be in this lifestyle at all. Controlling how close you get to someone is part of the territory. You solve that like any other problem by talking and making decisions togheter.
One time threesomes are as often a flop as they are a thumbs up encounter. A lot depends on what you are looking for along that line. If you have never had one you may not even know exactly what you are looking for. The two of you need to sit down and discuss what you want to have happen. For some it is just the size of the dick while the opposite end of the spectrum is some skill and the two of you working together to give her an earth shaking experience.
But, unless you are a minute man and pretty lousy in giving her what she needs in the bedroom I would not worry too much about it. But that is just me. If you are a stingy tight wad, or abuse her, or just a general putts and the two of you are always fighting then you might have a lot to fear.
Swingers do get divorced but stats will show that there is just as much danger from someone in your neighborhood that you do not know about than there is from a swinging with a couple that you know. In general you will find that relationships in and out of this lifestyle are a funny and complex thing. There is no such thing as a typical relationship. In general, although someone might give up a bad marriage for a relationship with someone else that is a better spouse. it is rare that someone gives up a good marriage just for someone else that is just better in bed.

Preconceived Ideas - - we had the same kind of realization.... once we figured out that 'swingers' were mostly just regular people with a spicy side hobby, we felt much more comfortable.

need advice on getting the wife interested in the lifestyle - advice needed - Well If i did read it wrong and I dont feel I did. And she is Interested in thinking about joining you in the lifestyle, then maybe Take her to a couple of The Meet and Greets at Habits, Its a Open Bar (not everyone there are swingers) and let her meet some of the other couples and she how she feels about it.
This is something She needs to want to do, No do it becouse your into it. This is also something i feel you and Her Should not jump into, maybe meet and hang out with other couples. But never think about doing anything untell she is the one that shows the intrest. Take it slow, Take your Time and always let her tell you what she wants to do.

New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - just curious if there has been any momentum from this feed? It seems there is a following, so where do we go from here? Being a swinger in Utah definitely has it's down falls, one of which being "follow through". We have tried nearly every avenue in finding fwb only to find most just want sexting buddies. If we had a place to physically meet, the way it was once upon a time before technology, there would be a much higher success rate at actually meeting people! I've seen an e-vite somewhere floating around that invites members of swingular to a private area of a public club downtown on Friday nights. Has anyone ever attended this? How was it? I think that would be a good place to start for getting a feel of how many would actually attend something like this if you are serious about opening a venue.
