What is up with Utah?! - Swingers in Utah and nowhere else? - We are not sure why Utah has more fun cpls who do not hide the fact they are into the lifestyle. Here in NC there are some great cpls too, but mabey we are just shy.
So we may have to head out west for our next vacation too.
Why are there so many swingers from Utah? - - Well I think that all of the bases have been covered. Are swingers moral? - Who determines what morals are? - There's so much to write here, so I think I'll just bring up two points. In my experience, someone who has realized Atheism through careful and philosophical thought, tend to be much more moral than theists. Furthermore, the bible has to be the worst script imaginable to derive ones moral bearings--especially the old testament. If taken literally, the bible has many examples where rape, genocide, incest, and much more are excusable under certain conditions.
Christain Swingers? - - We are both of the mind that being a christian, or following any organized religeon, usually means that you would try to live your life to the best of your ability. Respect your body, your mind, and others. Treat them the way you yourself wish to be treated, right?
Swinging should not have any bearing on these things. In fact, if more swingers treated each other in this way, we would not see threads titled, "Rude or disprespectful people." or "Interracial swinging" etc etc. I agree with the person who said that you can be a good "christian" and also be a swinger.
Its all about the way you conduct yourself. Its all about moderation and balance. You can drink but you shouldnt drink to excess. You can have fun, but not at the expense of others. I think that it should be a no brainer for all of us.
But it is harder for some than others. LoL.

Swinging and the Mormon Church - - We know and have known many active Mormon swingers over the years and I think they pretty much have a personal "don't ask don't tell" policy. And, of course, they lie...to their Bish or whoever when asked if they're chaste and stuff. I'm fairly certain most religions pretty much frown on wife swapping and most other forms of sexual relations with someone other than your God approved spouse. So I think the bottom line for most people who espouse a religion would be denial or simply willful disregard of THAT particular religious doctrine. However, as FORMER Mormons (well raised that way, anyway) we do know that there is sort of a loophole that many may not be aware of so you can basically fuck other peeps (and do other naughty shit...short of murder) and still go to heaven...eventually. Check out D&C 132:26. Now the way I interpret that "scripture" I'm pretty much covered (even though I'm an atheist) and will still get to go to heaven and stuff if on the VERY slim chance I'm wrong and it isn't all bullshit. ;-)
