When You're Shopping the Scene... - - Yeah, it'd be kinda cool if there actually WAS some kind of universal accessory or a signal that swingers could use to ID each other out in the vanilla world. And many have tried over the years but nothing has ever really caught on (back in the day, more than a few women wore necklaces of an apple with a bite out of it). And even if something DID actually catch on, and people wore it or whatever to identify other swingers, how long do you think it would take for the internet to make that fairly common knowledge?
We went to a swinger's convention in San Diego a number of years ago. The group had taken over the entire hotel and property and nobody was allowed in without a special wristband. It took about 4 hours for most of the hotel staff to learn what those wristbands meant. By the next day, people at nearby hotels, restaurants, and shopping centers had heard the news and as you passed people they would glance at you and then immediately glance down at your wrist. By that evening, most of the swingers were becoming so self-conscious that they were attempting to hide the wristbands beneath watches and bracelets. A few even pulled them off their wrists, if they were loose enough, and then put them back on when re-entering the property.
So, as nice as it would be to know for sure who other swingers are, it would kinda defeat the purpose of what many of us state in our profiles...that we're discreet. I suspect that about 10% (if even) would wear a black ring and about 90% wouldn't for fear of being outed as swingers. YMMV
sexy cities - favorite travel destinations - San Diego! Many LS venues, great nightlife, live music almost nightly at the Casbah and the San Diego Music Box, always a festival close by and Tijuana's gentlemen's clubs are world class. Hong Kong went from being a shady brothel decades ago to a hot nightclub / strip joint hybrid that welcomes everyone and popular with young Americans of both genders, we seen many young couples enjoying themselves with a pretty girl. Safe, clean, fair, cheapppp and fun as heck. Half of the girls who work there are Americans. You can just watch, get something to eat/drink or just be a part of the action. Tijuana also has world class restaurants such as Caesar's, all reasonably priced. We also have San Onofre naturist beach. There is Thad's, a swingers club still operating, plagued by single males but they are easily outnumbered and set asideon Saturday nights by the ton of couples who come in. Also a hot couples only play area always busy on Saturday nights. Private rooms too. Some other LS venues advertise on KAS. Never boring, always sexy down here! No need to go to Vegas or Palm Springs. Oh, we have awesome casinos too like Barona and Viejas.
Why is it so hard for peole to answer their mail??? - - Not having the time is a poor excuse. All the sites we have used offer a "canned" reply that is polite and straight forward. All it it takes is a click of the mouse. Don't think I have ever received a nasty gram from a no thank you email. When we first placed ads on swinger sites years ago, most emails were answered. Now that the net is popular and used by more and more people I suspect the precentage of ads from true swingers is smaller. I does make one wonder when you answer an ad with information that describes exactly what the couple is looking fot and don't get an answer???
Swingers - a couples only lifestyle? - Are singles considered to be swingers? - Single females are called Unicorns.....and single males are fluff (choc or vanilla in flavor)! Swinging is a couples game.... COUPLES! I consider myself a single female searching for a single male within the realms of the Swinger lifestyle.I do not want some other woman's husband for keeps. But I am mainly a HEDONIST and love pleasure.....So if I play with couples or more than one or different variations it is for pleasure.Giving and receiving. Definately the cost, it was a bargain fo rwhat was being offered.

Not really, I had a pretty good idea as to what was on the site because the person that recommend it gave me a pretty comprehensive tour.

"Couples" catergory rather than "Single Female"? - Which Swingular category is appropriate? - How you post is up to you. Lots of women post both ways. I guess it depends on your point of view. Most swinging couples don't think of us singles as swingers and maybe we are not technically. I cannot think why a married man would ever think of posting as a single but I admit that I have not looked either. If they do it should be posted clearly in their profile also.
But if you are in this lifestyle and single you may want to meet single women and hope that a really personal relationship may develop with one. This lifestyle is not just about hook ups. In general I would think that as a single swinger I would want to bond with a woman that wishes to live this lifestyle. At least that would work for me. So to that end, finding a single post that is really a married post is always a disappointment. But as long as you are clear in your profile, I say no harm, no foul. Non-paying Single Female requirement - Just an Idea - OK, I'm sticking with the Golden Unicorn at the end of the rainbow. I agree that single females should have to post a picture... of themselves... But it's to easy these days to go to some other swing site and find a good looking girl and poof, you have pictures so what does it really prove. It's like going to a swingers club and thinking that you are going to find hot single women waiting there for you. It isn't going to happen.
