We live here. Our experience is that most couples do not hate single men. Most married men are not intimidated by the presence of single men. Most couples and singles whether super active or rarely active in the lifestyle don’t post anything in the forum section of this website. As is the case with so much on the internet, a few of us that do read or post in the forums, may give others the impression that we are a good general representation of the community’s mindset. We definitely have nothing against the single ladies nor fellas.. We dont mind being emailed and if we arent looking for a single person at the moment we do the same as when a couple writes us. We write back explaining we appreciate the approach and we arent looking at the moment. Everyone is a human being and deserves to be treated as such. We have found the Mr and I that swingular attracts a lot of very opinionated people which is wonderful but also a lot of argumentative people which is not so great. We have found several other sites out there which tend to be more excepting and friendly. So just let any harsh words roll off and realize that you are very sexy and just a great person.

Swingers Party - Doesnt mean who ever is there is open to everyone elsa - We went to a Swingers Party for the New Year and have to say it was the worse I ever been to. Maybe it was us but I dont think if you go to a swingers party gives anyone the right to stick their tongue in your mouth that you dont know. I saw this going on and thought well alot of people here know eachother. Nope, turns out that wasnt the case. Most seem to enjoy the hellow I am so and so now open your mouth I am coming in. I been in the swing life style for more than 10 years and I dont ever think I put my tongue down anyones wife. And I never had it happen to my wife. So when some guy walks up and within mins of small talk goes after my wife with open mouth the first thing I thought of was to see how she handles it. I know my wife like most of us do. After she let him know that wasnt her thing she turned to me and started to tell me how most the guys acted when I wasnt in eye sight. I wasnt to happen to learn that everything I thought I knew about swingers came to a end. I always went to meet people and if we found a cpl we like took it from there. Didnt know if you attend a swingers party your free game for anyone. I wont attend another party with this group again. So , am I going over board with this or am I in the right?
Vegas Baby! - Clubs - Lived in Vegas for 5 yrs and just visited a few days ago. We agree with the "Nasty .. and not in a good way" comment. Been to them all and some that are no longer there. The Sin City Swingers parties are good, been members a long time. Don't waste time or money on Reds (Red Roster). If your not THE FIRST to use a room for the night, your just laying with everyone else that's been there. Green Door same way. Cleanest and best places are gone. Hit the clubs, sure you will find some great like minded people.

Favorite bars in utah - - We go to Club 90 usually on Saterday nights & we Dance alote & with other couples hopping they are swingers but it seems they are not so it would be nice if we could all wear a ring or something that lets others know we are in to the same swinging style that they are & it would help take the guess work out of it.

We've had multiple occasions where people in the wild have introduced themselves to us as a result of the rings. Mostly when we were traveling (outside of Utah). It's really not a big thing in Utah, yet... but outside of the state it's catching on relatively quickly.

... Also worth noting... it's mostly catching on among the younger, "under 50s" crowd. The old-timers seem content to poo-poo any idea, concept, or trend that doesn't fit their definition of 'swinging'. (Including at least one person on here who spends, literally, every waking minute of his day trolling the forums making negative / sarcastic comments to anyone and everyone).
If you don't like the trend, don't do it... but there's no reason to pretend it's not real.
ALSO... Black Ring Society is going to be changing its name to SwingRing (mobile app name is changing as well... I'll start a separate thread on that). We think it's a more inclusive, shorter, and less confusing name..
