How to add an event? - Looking into adding an event. - A friend of ours is operating a local club and wants to promote a swingers night. We were asked if we could potentially help with this. We'd like to create an event on the events page. But I'm not sure how. I'm assuming there is some additional verification that has to take place first? Also i know many events seem to be restricted to couples and single females, is it a bad idea to open events up to everyone? This would be a semi public venue so it would be difficult to restrict attendees.

First, the redesign of the site is going to be a huge milestone for us. We are getting closer and closer to the beta launch. Second, we are going city to city to market Swingular locally and expand in every market from small to big. As of right now, we are getting hundreds of sign ups a day. We are listed in the top 10 search results for most all keywords related to swingers and at least in the top 3 for about 5 of them. We have ads in and sponsor events such as SwingFest to help market ourselves worldwide and we are promoting parties across the U.S. We aren't going anywhere, we're here to stay!

Hosting a swingers Party - - As far as I can tell by reading the questioners post, it doesn't seem like he's running a club, a business or a for profit gathering. It sounds like he's just looking to recover shared cost. If that's the case, he doesn't need a lic. & he doesn't need to ask for donations. He's simply renting a suite for a party, and he expects those that have agreed to come to pay their share of the costs. There is nothing illegal about that. And unless he's violating a condition of the room rental, he really shouldn't have anything to fear. If he IS looking for profit, he'll have a lot more to worry about than just the police showing up at his door. Joe

Moving - - Justin- You might want to look deeper into what Utah is all about before you dive in. Just because you can see a few hundred swingers that appear to be cool, doesn't mean that the other 2.2 million Utahns are so accepting and fun. Living in Utah has some very good benefits (aside from the abundance of swingers)- these include the mountains, the desert, the skiing/snowboarding, hiking, biking, boating, camping, etc. pretty much whatever you want to do here, it is available. We have four distinct seasons, which are nice, if you like hotter than hell summers and super cold winters. The negative side to living in Utah is a little more hidden, and harder to explain. Simply put, if you don't fit in to the predominant culture (conservative, religious, Caucasian) you might not be happy here. Not that there aren't liberal, non-religious, non-white people here, but many locals look down on anyone who is 'different.' Also with one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country, and with less jobs available than most places, it might be difficult to find work in Utah. I hope I haven't pissed anyone off with my reply... Just trying to give Justin (and everyone else) a little bit of insight on what Utah is about Mr U

seniors - why is it so difficult to find senior swingers or single ladies? - Wow...I don't think Tequila Rose needs to jump on this one, as your "opinion" is very clear, and gosh...just right out there, ain't it? However, we simply want to state that in our "opinion", your "opinion" is found to be completely lacking in tact, good intent, social grace, and was completely unkind. If you felt such a necessity to answer with such...how can I put this..."honesty", then could you not have done it with at least more flair and less bluntness? I am not going to get on my "we're all going to be there someday" soapbox, because that is stating the overtly obvious. However, I certainly hope that by the time we get there, we don't run into many people either in or out of swinging, that would have such an utter lack of integrity and social etiquette to tell us that we are no longer considered viable and attractive members of society to at least someone.
