How's everyone spending the long weekend? - Who's up for some spontaneous get togethering? - We're celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary all weekend, we started Wednesday night with our private dinner and a Vegas show, Of course Thursday is T-day so family time, Friday is party time with friends, a dinner with everyone and a party at the swingers club later that night. Not getting much action on here - - Swingsites, I think, are dying a slow, painful death and one day in the not too distant future will probably cease to exist. We've been on a number of sites since the early days of the interwebs and most have gone under...and the two we're still on are in danger of becoming extinct.
There are just too many other platforms and apps that make it easy for people, especially younger swingers who are already predisposed to use those methods, to find and hook up with other people. Some one mentioned that jealousy are natural.... Only in the sense that by example we are programmed to them, just as we are not "taught " not to eat other people but we kind of get that impression...Canibalism(sp) is not acceptable any more than is marrying ones own sister or brother. Possessiveness is about owning somthing that is not yours to own. No one owns anyone else and especially not their spouse. Is it natural to own a person? I say no. Somehow when people get into a relationship the idea creeps in that says that the other person is your exclusive property. One need to put that aside if one is a swinger. As for jealousy.... Jealousy is a combination of both possessiveness and ones own insadequacies. Maybe one could describe that as fear.. Fear that she or he will meet someone better. Fear that we are not good enough, etc etc etc. So Jealousy is a reaction to these fears and the possessiveness not a true emotion at all. Everyone thinks of Jealousy as an emotion, which it is not.
So polyamory is very possibly with swinging but may purists of poly will say that poly and swinging are difinitely two different things... Maybe but they can exist simultaneously.

I don't think this answers her question or is helpful in any way. Doesn't seem like it's your place to attack or question the motive of any single for being on this site because each of us has our reason. Obviously you didn't mind when you were trying to set up a date with her. And we aren't aware of what happened in a closed messaging session between the two of you, but it seems that airing it in the open like this is an ugly way to settle it. May cause others to avoid you for such a visceral response from her seemingly harmless question. Again, I don't know what happened between the two of you, but this isn't the best place for you to show this angry side of you.
