Female sex fantasies. - What do women really think about sex? -
We may have to agree to disagree here. We've been in the lifestyle for almost 3 decades and have talked to countless people (yes, many of them even women-haha) who have talked openly about the fantasies they have and have had and sometimes, sadly, how often those fantasies were stifled to some degree or another by societal expectations and repression as well as suppressed by how they were raised by their parents (especially their mothers..."Good girls don't do/say/think things like that.").
This is just anecdotal and you are failing to realize that you are talking to them in a LS scenario where everyone wants to be the super open and cool movie star-like swingers. Same reason all SM's in the LS are respectful, kind and the Good Lord's gift to couples seeking MFM or even the ones that are not. We all play The Imitation Game. They will talk to you openly, honestly, will tell you how much they enjoy it, how healthy for their relationship is. It almost becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. But, unless you were raised in a far away land where the LS was a norm and that we all know it has never existed, these confessions are an integral part of the illusion. And, if you take all that at face value, you are lying to yourself and even worst, believing it.
It seems more than just a little condescending and even a little bit misogynistic.
I've been called worst lol. It's just biology, we think we are this almighty superior species, key to the universe, chosen to be sovereigns of all when all we are is just mammals with an unusually large brain victims of our own imagination and gullibility for the most part. And yes, imagination is sometimes good, that's how we got to the moon. But that's also why when you go to an Indian casino, you only see pictures last dozen big winners from last year but you don't see the thousands of losers of this week. Most of us are trapped in a dream and think we can make our own reality. "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun." -Ecclesiastes 1:9

Just for shits and giggles? - Why are you in the lifestyle? - To be honest, I used to be one of those narrow-minded people who thought those in open marriages, swingers, etc. were just people who didn't really love their partner or couldn't "handle" a committed relationship/marriage. Wife and I then discussed the possibility a few years back, my reasoning being that before her, I really hadn't been with many women, and the ones I had been with was more a one time or several times thing, so my experiences were limited, and now that I had "learned what I was doing" a little, my mind was curious on if it was just that my wife loves me and was attracted to me, or if I could please other women. We decided after discussions to try it out. We met up with a couple that was more experienced, thrilling, and the whole experience was a roller coaster ride. Years later, while watching a particular episode of "House, M.D." that deals with a couple who is either in an open marriage or swingers (can't recall), listening to the medical staff characters assassinate the idea of nonmonogamy the way I used to with short-sighted, unfair logic, it made me reflect on how much our views on something can do a 180 when we give it a fair shot. From this, I started wondering things, one of them being whether I actually "knew" if I was straight or not, or just assumed through society and toxic masculinity. I decided that the only way to know would be to open myself up to the idea of trying it and seeing what happened. Through that, I found out that I am at least bi-curious. I've had one sexual experience with another man, and it was both pleasurable and memorable. Haven't had much opportunity outside of that yet to expand and explore further. I guess what I'm saying is we started this wanting to push our perceptions of things and find out what the reality beneath them was, and through that I have enjoyed becoming open to all sorts of new possibilities I never would've imagined. I can't wait to see what the world throws me next to test what I think I know. Thanks all who made it through the novel, I know I rambled a bit. Not a lot of safe spaces to discuss things of this nature out there.

Black Ring - Who has theirs and how have they caught on? - It's a numbers game... Less than a tenth of 100th of a percent of the population of Utah is into swinging..... You may wear it for YEARS before someone notices.. (Just like the odds of running into a swinger at the grocery store are ridiculously slim). Odds go up significantly if you wear them to places where swingers are likely to be (Habits on a Friday night, for example).

Any swingers advise for Spain? - Swing clubs in Madrid - And believe it or not, if some clown gives a girl a hard time, over ANYTHING, she can call the cops and the cops WILL deal with the jerk. In some places, like Amsterdam, the police even have the authority to ban someone from the red light district on pain of instant arrest, and they do do it. Only in places where it's illegal do there seem to be all the problems, crime, drugs, disease, that we have associated with it here in most of the U.S. Like I said, different laws, different social attitudes. ~ Terry

Jewellery, logos, etc to identify other swingers - We would like info on websites catering to discreet items to let others "know" we are in the lifestyle - Another site, SDC sends its members a pin with a butterfly and SDC on it. If there is another around we will sure know it. :-)

Pocatello - - In in Pocatello Idaho for a few weeks. Heist places would you recommend going to meet local swingers in the area?

What's the universal swinger signal? - How can you spot a swinger?? -
I always tell people I like girl juice and sausage for breakfast... real swingers know what I mean :)
Or do you like "girl juice" on your "sausage?" ;)

Swinging and the Mormon Church - -

I Love belonging to a Church where my publicly professed beliefs match my internal values. It just feels good. :)
Wait, there's a swinger church?! ;)
Yes, the Church of Pals4Fun is now open, please cum worship at the alter! I think that you're just teasing but might be a tad serious in your comment so I wanted to reply although it's a very difficult topic and tough to articulate. No, I don't know of any church-of-the-wild-and-crazy-swingers. But I DO enjoy belonging to a Church that does not issue broad sweeping edicts REQUIRING certain behaviour by people so as to assure that ya'll are exactly like me. I like differences. I like differing beliefs or opinions. I like the fact that I couldn't be excommunicated for being gay for example. I can not be tossed aside because I swing nor can I toss you aside because you swing or are bisexual. So all I'm saying is that I enjoy belonging to a Church that outwardly espouses a view that agrees with mine -- I(we) don't have all the answers so I'm not going to condemn you for where you are in your journey of self-discovery and life. I'm going to join you, talk with you, and discuss things. Maybe I'M the one who'll end up changing and you're not "wrong" at all. (in whatever it is that you believe) Sheez, see? I told ya I'd have trouble articulating it. Sorry to wander from the OP's initial topic on Mormonism. [em]Emo_8[/em]

Poly-Swingers - Moving beyond FWB relationship - Thank you so much for your insight and advice ABCCOUPLE. I truly appreciate it and I will definitely be reading The Ethical Slut. I think that all four of us are very lucky and have the exact kind of connection that it takes to have a wonderful Poly relationship. The other wife and I are both Bi and our husbands are close friends as well. The wife and I fell for each other early on and we both have developed love for each others' husbands and they for us. Thanks again for your thought provoking post.

upside down pineapple? - - Upside-down pineapples (Or sometimes even right-side-up ones.). Black rings. Pink flamingos in the front yard. Ankle bracelets (Who knew how many Jr. High girls were hotwives! :-O). We always laugh a little when somebody "discovers" these supposedly surefire ways to tell if your neighbors or the cute couple sitting across the restaurant are swingers. It's even funnier when someone makes up their own and tries to make it a thing. When we first started in the lifestyle (Back around the time of Noah and his Magic Zoo Boat.) it was supposedly a necklace with a pendant of an apple with a bite out of it.
