Positive Media Attention - KUTV should have read this - A lot of metaphorical ink was spilled in recent weeks about how awful the KUTV piece on swingers is/was. Desire vs hedonism - - I know there have been similar topics, but I couldn't find them in the forums. So starting a new thread. To the people that have been to both hedo and desire, which would u prefer? I thought secrets and excellence were swinger resorts too, but now I can't find any evidence to support that. Anybody been to excellence or secrets and can tell me if its for swingers?

Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - We tend to focus more on an overall package deal, rather than choosing to focus on one parameter specifically, such as age. Personality and intellectual attraction combined with levels of physical attraction sometimes make the issue of age a moot point.
Black and white generalizations are something we prefer to avoid when referring to those we encounter in the lifestyle, i.e., younger ones are always too immature or clueless, older ones have no stamina, etc.
Diversity within the swinger community is too great to even attempt such broad categorizations. Besides, what potential fun/friends are we missing out on because of that?
Honestly, we have found younger couples to far exceed their years in relative wisdom, often surpassing those that are well above their age group. Inversely, my wife and I will outlast most party goers ten years our junior.

Reject Affair Match - Cheaters are not swingers - We couldn't agree more. When we decided to join this lifestyle we both agreed that being totally real and honest were the 2 most important things to make this fun, and to get what we both wanted out of it. Cheating on a spouse isn't what this is all about. I totally agree with the previous post.

Swinging wasteland! LOL! That's a good one, I like that. I've been through Elko and with the Casino's there, one would think there would be a lot of action, but I guess maybe not. Maybe it's where people go "to swing" but not where swingers "are?" Just a thought.
