Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - Maybe the issue is that there are single men that do try "cold calling". Since the odds of them hitting a "single guy friendly" couple are not as good as hitting a couple that looks for couples only, they will tend to irritate that couple. Here's something Ive been curious about - - Well we have been doing this hmmmmmmmmm 15 years and don't consider ourselves to be Swingers either, not that there is anything wrong with that. We without putting a label on it, consider ourselves to be sexually open minded couple. We have played with couples and singles but we don't play with everyone we meet. What is up with Swingular and Drama? - - OK let me start off by saying this is an IN GENERAL post. Swingular was the first swingers site we joined. We only come around here now pretty much to be amused. The reason for this is that we can't read more than 3 threads on the home page with out encountering MAJOR DRAMA. The people on here (in general) seem to have a favorite past time of arguing with each other and inciting others to join in the mary fun. We repeatedly have come to the conclusion that this is the one aspect of our lives were the sole purpose is FUN and RELAXATION. I don't know about anyone else but arguing and drama and and anything else negative in the LS is just utterly ridiculous and reading the first four post on the thread labeled "porn mail" today just reminded me why we only come here for amusement.
What to wear to a swingers party??? - - Wear whatever makes you comfortable ladies wear something sexy guys don't show up in suit coat and tie or you will be the only one there like that ! Sports shirt and sports pants for a a guy is the norm. Clothing is not really a big deal if its a true swingers party clothes won't be on that long anyways lol.

Breaking the 4th wall - meeting a swinger in a vanilla situation. - Traveling to a party in Ogden, while gassing up at a truck stop, we ran into some casual friends of friends (Not Swingers) from our home town and it was a little odd trying to come up with a cover story on the spot, it was easier though because they were also flustered. There are cult books out there that show how and why any human can get stuck in these logic loops, even if they weren't raised in the church they can get stuck in them. And its especially hard if it's something you were born into, your biological urges screaming at you to disobey it.
And the fact is the LDS church has given so many different commandments over the years that it is very hard to follow them all.
1) no pool tables
2) no playing cards
3) no rated r movies
4) may wear only 2 total earrings, but they can be 2 pearl.
5) only get a tattoo if you are polynesian and your cultural heritage commands you to get one
6) to be in a bishopric or higher, the only facial hair permitted is a neatly trimmed mustache above the lips only. May not go below the corners of the mouth.
7) girls have to wear pantyhose to church, naked legs are not allowed (bless that 70 - love pantyose)
You should really look into cult dynamics to understand how the human brain locks you into staying in a cult, especially if you were born & raised, and every family member is in it, and how it can happen to anyone of any intelligence level. And being in swinging might be a good way to help them learn to be more open in their respect for others. I know several swingers who got out of he LDS chuch by swinging.
BUSTED! Your Kids Found Out Your Swingers. Now What? - - When we first got in this lifestyle 15 yrs ago a couple we were seeing told our daughter. She said she was drunk and didnt know what she said but thats another story. Soon what my daughter knew my son found out. We just sat down with our kids and explained to them what our needs where and what and why we do this. Our daughter totally was exceptable and my son just chooses to ignore that fact. As far as family I dont know if they know or not but if they do they are all open minded enough we wouldnt expect any problems.
