Monogamy in marriage - An interesting article on the subject - I think the number one reason that a marriage goes off track is the lack of communication. It could show up in fights over money, one or the other cheating because their needs are not taken care of in the marriage, or just about any of the rocks that so many couples run into along the path of married life. One reason I think that swingers tend to be happier and more secure is because without good, open communication swinging can be a minefield. First time stories, wanna share? - - Our first experience wasn't so great. There was mis-communcation, and it was fairly awkward. Actually, when my wife and I left the hotel in the morning, we decided swinging wasn't for us.
A few days later we decided not to let one experience be the final judgment. We joined Swingular and started talking to a couple that contacted us. My wife and I were a bit worried by their much higher experience level, but than we decided maybe that would be better.
We were right. They were nice and respectful and did a great job of making us feel comfortable, and we ended up having a really fun night with them. I think being with experienced swingers allowed us to just be ourselves and only have to concentrate on our own boundaries. If we had been with another newer couple, we'd all have to worry about going to far. We had a good enough night that we have kept in contact with them and continued to slowly check out the lifestyle.
We're still Soft Swap, and full swing couples have been really gracious to us, letting us join them and get a better idea of the lifestyle, and letting us get our feet wet, before diving in to the deep end. :)
We've had no bad experiences, but some could have been better if we had communicated on our end better. We're still learning how to do that.
Overall, these early experiences have been a lot of fun, and we're finding that easing into the lifestyle isn't as rocky as we feared. It's been a fun journey so far.

I totally get what you are saying. The no single guys is by request of my hubby, not me. If it were up to me, I'd have him and about 3 singles guys at, once :) bit I love my man and he's less comfortable with that so I respect it. Single guys are in no way pieces of shit ;)
