Saturdays Vortex Party - - Just an idea. Even the wife and I have talked about this. When we first started in the L/S back in NC. We went to hotel Parties. Then a cpl from FL baught a house just for swinger parties. They didnt live there just opened it up on sat. for swingers. A lot of misguided people seem to think that the lack of replies indicates that the site is full of fakes! Come on now.
Here is the reality of swinging: Forgive MY bluntness, but since we were speaking frankly I thought that it would be good to hear another point of view.
1. There are assholes in every state. Be vigilant, be smart about with whom you share your personal information, and learn from your experiences. Pic collectors, cheaters, people trying to convince others that they are something that they are not...Just remember, those people are most likely horny 15 year old boys posing as others so that they can giggle and jerk off... men and women (thats right, and women too) posing as couples to get dates...the list goes on...
We lived in Lake Worth for several years, and I can tell you that there are as many low rent assholes there as there are here in MD. Thats swinging, so get over it. The sooner you do, the less it will irritate you.
2. People dont answer their e-mail. The lack of replies means that you havent made a connection with someone YET, or that they are not interested in you. Maybe they are busy and do not have the time to respond to all of their mail? Thats all. Yes we consider it rude to ignore someone, but trust me, you dont want to to hear back from some of them anyway. Consider it a blessing from whomever you worship and move on! A lot of people lack the basic social skills required to be polite to others, even by e-mail. Unfortunately, thats swinging too...on ANY website...so get over it. The sooner you do, the less it will irritate you.
Your profile says you joined on January 30, 2006. If this is accurate then it seems to me that you are fairly new here...if only a few months. Perhaps you should be more patient? Your profile is rather sparse too...give it some attention and let your personality come through in it so that others can better judge if they are truly interested in getting to know you.
People also read these forums quite a bit, even if they do not openly participate. The forums are an excellent way to make new friends, but it works both ways. Who wants to meet with someone who is complaining about "fakes" because they did not get a date? Isnt that just like the kid who doesnt get picked for kickball taking his big red ball and going home? It just seems to me that FIRST you should do everything in your power to seem appealing and approachable before you pass judgement about the intentions of others.
None of this was meant to offend you, and if I did, then for that I apologize. It just seems to me that your time could be spent more constructively if you intend to meet people that you can see socially on this site.

Added Profile Information - We need your feedback. - Have seen on other sites a computer match auto search that matches the top 10 or 20 profiles that match what you and the others are looking for. This could save a lot of needless looking into others profiles endlessly. Some dating services are set up in a simular manor and it does have its benefits. Also good to have a place for specific ages you are looking for, or others are looking for. What is is with local couples? - Anyone else seem to have the problem with couples local to where you live NOT wanting to meet? - I think people who do not reply are simlarly afraid about pictures. THey are afraid that locals will recognize them. We are in a very small town where we have been asked upon returning from a social at 3 or 4 in the morning what was wrong.... Then it goes thru the 2 closest neighbors to the south living east and west of each other. Then it jumps west several houses and then North across the street and back east again. Within one day. 7 families now know that we got in at 4am and there is speculation as to why. The neighbor across the street, as I picked up my mail one afternoon, at the bottom of my driveway, starts telling me about a couple, that I do not know from the other side of town, about them fighting and how they poor mouth and then they were eating steak...... Do I care ... why should I, but in this town everyone knows everyone elses business.... But regardless of the size of the town people are afraid that someone will find out....<shishhhhhh> <don't let anyone here> that they are swingers and God will curse them.... You know what they say about small towns and Baptist.... They see everything, hear everything that happens and tell everyone about everything ...EXCEPT that they recognize no one in the liquor store.. or local whore house.
