What would you do if you knew a member is fake? - Fake cpls on swing sites - I can see your dilemma, but are you sure they are fake and not just desperate, lifeless, pitiful fools? at the end of their pitiful ropes? Maybe just crude, rude, hillbilly rednecks or something? We get hit up by the same single males quite often, seems as though they shoot in the dark hoping for some sort of outcome, and then quickly move on when they don't get a response. then a couple months or so later, back again with the same plan that didn't work the first time! Doesn't mean they are fake, just desperate, and obviously unorganized! The problem with outing people, AT ALL, is that you never know. Thing is you never know who will end up being your future Boss, co-worker, or client. (using as reference, you just never know) I myself am very turned off by smack talkers, had someone email me very recently talking smack to me (their idea of a warning) about someone I have known my entire life. Now how could they have known you ask? they couldn't have, but.......my advice to them......never smack talk, because you never know. ADMIN: Survey Says - Site Updates for Priority - - Fix the site so it's mobile-responsive. Your current mobile app sucks ass. (Like.. a LOT of ass). We had a great one with SwingRing and you shut it down. (I even offered to give you the whole thing for free.. but you ignored a ton of emails to that end). All modern social communities are now mobile-first. This one is mobile-non-existent. I recognize this is a total front-end UI rewrite. I would propose that it's probably about time. I can introduce you to some people who are very good at this kind of work, if you need. (And you'll have to forgive us if you make another promise that it's coming, and we don't believe you anymore). - Get rid of the awful chat system and replace it with something a little more.. modern. You're just plugging in bad third-party products and you just cheapen the whole experience. CometChat really is bad, and the mobile app you white-labeled from them is absolutely TERRIBLE. You should get your money back on that whole venture. (123FlashChat is also TERRIBLE!!) - Fix the "groups" feature here. You need a more social / facebook style wall where content that's relevant to us is pushed to our main Swingular page. If someone posts in a group I belong to, I should get notified of that and see it on my wall. If someone replies to a thread in the forums I'm participating in, I'd like to see that. Kasidie, Quiver, and other sites are figuring all of this out while this site still lives in the dark ages. As it stands, the social capabilities of this site aren't just bad -- they're embarrassing. No wonder so many people from this site are migrating to the (less than ideal) Facebook groups and Kik chat rooms. - I want a damn text message or push notification when someone sends me a message. I want to be able to reply to the message they sent from my mobile device, without going through some cumbersome sign-in process. I want to be able to view their profile, their public photos, and their private photos without having to go through the captcha process. Put simply? I want interaction with other couples to be seamless. You really suck at this right now. (The SwingRing app had all this. You killed it in favor of something that looks like it was created by a junior-high kid). - Better event management.. I built a REALLY nice event management system in the SwingRing app that's now dead.. but parties were better attended than ever before as a result of that system. Now we're back to the stone age. The whole point of this site is to help swingers meet other swingers. Don't lose site of that! - All the bells and whistles that I get from other sites are missing. There are plenty of things the general "law-abiding" public does in their cars and homes that put themselves and others in danger. Have to wonder which demographic group will be next after having ridded our communities of the dregs of society by outlawing tobacco and alcohol (the insidious pot-heads have already been dealt with after all)? How about the fat people? They live an unhealthy lifestyle, and certainly provide a burden on society with obesity related issues. Attribute the rise in Type 2 Diabetes, heart disease, increase in cancer (yes cancer...in individuals who have never smoked and have otherwise lived a good "christian" life) to the convenient and unhealthy lifestyles full of decadence and complacency we lead (Hmm...I know there was a reference to the Roman empire somewhere earlier in this thread). Once the fat peeps are incarcerated...who shall shoulder the burden and blame for many of the ills in our society? There are always going to be special interest target groups in our society, whether they be pot-heads, crack-heads, fatties, adrenaline junkies, speeders, cell-phoning-while-driving idiots, swingers...well you get the point. We may forget to look at WHY things are made illegal, maybe that's on purpose...because when you think about it...the reasons for WHY they are do not make sense. It couldn't be merely for personal safety and health reasons...because if that were the case, then certainly excessive food, and cell phones would be made illegal. I'm with TR on the too much government intrusion scene; We are the so-called "most free" country on the planet...yet we have the most laws and government intrusion and incarcerated percentage of the population. How has swinging made your marriage better? - - Communication (REAL communication) is the key but still it's not enough if someone really wants to stray or outright leave. There's been an interesting discussion on another swing site we're on about some of this topic and an old timer on there (who's now divorced) brought up something that we found interesting and that seems to be fairly ubiquitous in the lifestyle. It turns out that most women who have been in the lifestyle for a decent length of time have at one time or another (multiple times for Ms. Evil and some of the ladies we've known for some time) been told by a play partner (more often by a single male or even more often a vanilla guy...lot's of swingers seem to get a thrill out of vanilla hunting I guess) that if they were THEIR partner they would NEVER share them with another man. Think about that for a minute. With the way most women are raised and the messages society pounds into their heads about love, romance, fidelity, etc., how powerful are those words are. In fact let's take a little poll. Are there any women who've been in the lifestyle for, say, at least 5 years and play fairly frequently who have never had a guy tell them or insinuate that? Just curious.
